Covering an area of 58,000 hectares, the Pilanesberg sports a unique topography – rings of geologically fascinating alkaline hills that were produced by volcanic activity 1.2 billion years ago. In addition to healthy populations of lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and both black and white rhino, there are many endemic species that call the park home. Spot brown hyena, cheetah, sable, giraffe, springbok, zebra, hippo and crocodile to name but a few. The park is also a bird-watchers haven with over 360 recorded species.

Pilanesberg National Park

5.00We saw lions, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, hippos, antelopes, and zebras — such an amazing experience! We really enjoyed it, and our guide was fantastic. If you have just one day, this is a great option to experience nature.

5.00From the beginning the Service provided was impeccable. The car driver came to pick us up at the hotel on time at 6hrs in the morning to take us to Pilanesberg. New car, clean, organized, with cold water at will and wifi throughout the journey. Very friendly, polite and professional driver, it was essential for our experience to be amazing from the beginning. Arriving in Safari, the great service continued. Our guide and driver was also very dedicated and attentive, the place is amazing, an unforgettable experience without a doubt.

5.00From the moment of booking everything was so easy and smooth. i was informed the night before of the time of pick up from my hotel. Endrow the driver was fantastic and knowledgable giving us extra information on the areas we were deiving past. the safari day was so amazing and went by so quickly. would definitely recommend Stephenson Adventures

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Stephenson Adventures, The tour guide was very experienced, polite and caring. We had snacks and lunch during the trip, which is a great perk because it is quite a lengthy trip. My favourite moment or stop from the trip was the Bird watching , we got to see different types of species, some that I've only seen on national geographic, which was very nice and memorable. We were one of the lucky ones, we got to see the big 5, which is a rare sight. Everything that was promised, was delivered. Stephenson was prompt and professional It was worth every cent we spent, I'd highly recommend this for everyone that wants to experience the wildlife with style.

5.00This trip was great! Pilanesburg was a successful 1/2 day. Good Guide. Good viewings. Sun City is a must. Awesome venue. My guide for the day, Steve, was a pleasure to be with. He is knowledgeable, patient, fun and communicates well adding so many interesting facts and sights to this tour. Would contract with this company again.
