What To Expect
This is our meeting location where guests will check in for the tour and board the boat.
After a 90 minute ride by boat from Paradise Island you will arrive at Meeks Patch Island. Meeks Patch is home to swimming pigs in the islands of Eleuthera. This island is well known for it’s very friendly swimming pigs. At this stop guests will have approximately 45 minutes to swim with the pigs, feed them, and check out the other animal residents.

5.00Amazing trip. Kapitain Keith, Celine and AJ were an amazing crew. Very helpful and entertaining. They took pictures and were very knowledgeable in the area of places we visited. Lunch at valentines was excellent. The pink beach was as beautiful as they say and the waters were warm and so Crystal clear.

5.00Had an amazing day trip to Eleuthera on May 2 and this trip is nothing short of beautiful. The speedboat was the way to go given the distance from Nassau. Highlight was definitely swimming with the turtles (oh and stingrays!!) and the last stop to the sandbar/swings. The crew from Born Free Charters (Novado, T.J., Wilson) were so much fun and really made everyone feel comfortable (especially around stingrays) and welcome! Thank you so much, your friends from Canada.

5.00Teen chocolate (Wilson) WAS AMAZING!!! Navado, T.j, and Wilson took amazing care of us! We stayed in the Bahamas for 6 days and our time with this crew was the best time I had in the Bahamas. Thank you so much for showing us a amazing time! This was truly a check off of the bucket list. If you ever find your way to Idaho look us up you have a place to stay! 😆

5.00I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see The Bahamas and what it has to offer. Very amazing boat tour! The crew was awesome, super friendly and accommodating. The tour offered good snacks and drinks too. It is an all day tour; we started at the pigs and were able to feed and hold them! We then went off to the turtles and were able to feed and touch them too. After, we got to pink sands beach where we had a very delicious lunch at the island’s restaurant (covered with the tour). We got to drive our own golf carts to pink sands beach on the other side of the island! They were playing good music while travelling to the islands. Definitely worth the money! I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants the experience of interacting with animals and enjoying the beautiful waters and beaches of the Bahamas.

5.00I had an amazing time with Born Free Charters! From the moment I got on the boat, to the very end, I was taken care of extremely well. They played some awesome music which was so fun to listen to as we travelled across the ocean. The crew was very accommodating to everyone’s needs and kept a positive and upbeat vibe the entire day. The lunch at Pink Sands Beach was very good as well. I got the fish tacos and they were very yummy. Also, all the stops we took were very engaging and fun. The pigs and turtles were my favourite. The crew was very knowledgeable on how to take care of them and bring them near us. Additionally, we ended up seeing some dolphins and wildlife on our boat ride and the captain actually took the time to stop and bring us closer to see the animals better which was really appreciated and special for me. On top of all this, the boat was very clean and well taken care of, helping me feel safe and comfortable during the trip. Overall, if you want a great way to see some of Bahamas’ best areas and marine life, as well as to have an amazing time and get some awesome photos, Born Free Charters is definitely the way to go.

5.00A fantastic day on the ocean with the crew - Captain Keith and mates - Wilson & Celine. Very professional crew, knowledgeable, attentive to needs, and great with the animals. We had fun feeding the pigs and swimming with the turtles and stingrays! The sandbar was neat to walk on in the middle of the ocean. Went to a local restaurant on the water for lunch - enjoyable, but hot without a table with an umbrella. Pink Sand Beach (you drove golf carts yourself) was beautiful, but if you want chairs and/or an umbrella, you have to rent them. Overall, a wonderful time. A great way to spend a day in the Bahamas!

They were always super kind, informative and make sure we were having a great time. We had a great variety of drinks to choose from. You definitely have to go!

5.00Amazing day with the spicy crew of the speed boat Jalapeño! Started off on our speed boat at 08:30, knowing it would be approx 1 hr to our first stop, drinks are provided from the start. We had to stop though after about 30 mins as we had the fantastic opportunity to see some whales!! Wow! Then off to a sand bank where there are some swings and large stingrays who will swim around you. Next stop is the pigs, where we fed them, swam with them and lots of photos. Even though this was already an experience, off to the next stop, where more excitement… swimming with wild turtles. After all of that, a quick lunch break, where your meal at the restaurant has been paid for, but you will need to purchase any drinks. A quick golf cart ride to the beautiful pink beach, where you can just chill for 90 minutes. After all that, it’s a 90 min speed boat ride back. This is definitely a once in a lifetime experience and would highly recommend to everyone. There was a mixed group on our boat, from kids to teens and adults, and all of us were catered for and grinning the whole time. Yes there is a toilet on the speedboat if you need it. Soft drinks and beer provided. Born Free were excellent hosts, and the crew being Captain Keith, and Derron and Celine as his mates were friendly, knowledgeable and just ready to ensure everyone had a great time. Tip - take some cash, for drinks at the restaurant and then if you want to rent a beach chair and get a drink at the beach. Waterproof cover for your camera is a must. These animals are all wild, and you can see that conservation of habitat is a priority. Thank you crew for an amazing day! This isn’t a cheap trip - but is worth every penny.
