I was the only local that was part of the first unit camera crew on the production set, filming the movie (Pirates of the Caribbean), I went on a 2 day scouting trip with the directors and producers , With all of this information I will gladly share with you ,before we actually make stop along the many small villages and town ,so you see first hand the authentic Vincentian experience and culture.Expect a great and exciting tour.

What To Expect

Kingstown

The tour starts from pick up point hotel or ferry terminal drive through capital Kingstown highlighting some of the street and iconic building, churches palimony building and vegetable market. Then a scenic drive along leeward highway passing through small villages and town.

Had a brilliant time with IV Tours. First time going to the site with my parents and son. Great to hear the details of the location with someone who was very knowledgeable. Thank you Ruff!

Had a fabulous tour from Orville (also known locally as Ruff) who runs IV Tours to the Pirates of the Caribbean filming site in Wallilabou. He gave us the full cultural immersion of St Vincent on the drive there thru the capital Kingstown, the manufacturing area in Camden Park and the island’s famous people from Layou. Explained the old coconut plantation and stopped several times for photo ops. Then lots of details about the Pirates movie set and how things were filmed, what was real and what was not. He even provided cold refreshments and fruit. We had a great day and will use IV Tours again for sure.

Orville was a great guide. He had been involved in with the production of the pirates of the Caribbean series and was very informative about the island and the film. He stayed with us when we went to Wallibou and pointed out the props and the scenes they were used and what was real and fake! Would recommend this tour for fans or mild interested in Pirates of Caribbean but a great tour

What a great tour, the set is a little bit dated now but full of character and friendly fun. The bar is a step back in time, just grab a drink and sit out on the veranda looking out to sea imagining the Black Pearl sailing by. Our driver was a safe and knowledgeable guy took his time to explain the culture of the island and took us to some interesting places on the way there and back.

So there was alot of pictures and leftovers things for the movie pirates of the carribean. Knowing the mover was flim there . It's such and historical place.

Orville took us to the set of “Pirates of the Caribbean” Amazing opportunity for any film buffs out there. You can literally see film history and even dress up like a pirate with the original wardrobes!! You will not find a better guide anywhere in the Caribbean.

Ruff was a great tour guide and photographer, he is a very friendly guy, he knew where every part of pirates of Caribbean was filmed on St Vincent as he was actually on the set himself. When you get off in the cruise port ask for RUFF

We only had a rough idea of what to do when we got off the cruise ship but luckily, we happened to find Ruff and IV Tours. We talked and arranged a trip to Darkview Falls as well as to see some of the Pirates of the Caribbean film sites. His knowledge of the island, the volcano and the movie was truly impressive! He has personal experience with all of the above and kept us entertained while skilfully driving the winding roads of St Vincent. His prices were also very reasonable for our group of six family. We hope to visit St Vincent again and if we do, we will be booking Ruff in advance to take care of us.
