What To Expect
Mod your own Gameboy (Original/Advance/SP)-right in the country where it was born! More than a workshop - You'll travel back to your childhood, relive your memories, and bring a Gameboy back to life. ・Make your own unique Gameboy (Original/Advance/SP) with various shells and other parts. ・With step-by-step guidance from a gameboy lover guide, you’ll build a Gameboy that reflects your personal style. ・We will lend you a game cartridge to try out your creation. Please return it at the end of the workshop. ・The workshop will take place in Akihabara, Japan’s world-famous area for games, anime, and pop culture. ※Nintendo is not involved with our workshop. We’re a group of retro gaming enthusiasts who love reviving old consoles through creative upgrades and bringing classic consoles back to life. ※We offer a 3-day guarantee after the workshop in case of any issues. 5.00Very nice activity, accessible to anyone (no previous experience is required). I would definitely recommend to anyone who is into gaming or technology / engineering in general. It is clearly guided and supported throughout the whole process. And as a result you get a customized Gameboy for yourself!) I was fortunate enough to grab a seat and it was worth it!

5.00I’m incredibly happy with this experience, the team were so helpful even with me struggling for a colour scheme, they were so patient and understanding, they were unbelievably helpful, I’ll definitely be telling my friends to try this out when they come to Tokyo and would 100 percent suggest to do so, my only advice would be to come with a colour scheme in mind as there is only so many GBA shells.
