What To Expect
Cape Winelands District Municipality
On our tours you will visit various selected wine districts, this depends on how your taste in wine is. Once I've chosen them, you will go 4 different vineyards located across the Cape. Here you will be exposed to breathtaking views of our winelands , the mountains and typical landscapes. You will taste the different wines in those areas to gain knowledge on how they differ according to climate and soil. Remember wine tours are for everyone with the the thirst for knowledge of South african wines, expert or novice. My aim is for you to increase in understanding and most important to have fun. Our tours are not limited to wine tour only, we offer other packages also. We are focused on private tours so we can specificaly design, whatsoever your heart desires. We do tours visiting main attractions of the Cape like table mountain, Robben island , Kirstenbosch and the Cape peninsula . 5.00We enjoyed our trip to Stellenbosch with Paul immensely. He has a wealth of knowledge and allowed us to go to the wineries we wanted to visit. All wineries are like a picture postcard. Put it on your must do list when visiting Cape Town. Highly recommend!!

5.00Paul and Evidence are two of my favourite people in Cape Town. Paul is without compare in the area for knowing wine and the vintners. Words cannot describe Evidence’s kindness. I’ve been on three tours with Paul and Evidence and cannot wait to see them next time I am back in CPT

5.00We spent a week together with Paul and his wife, who drove us from Stellenbosch to P.E. via Montagu, Oudtshoorn and the Garden Route. I am unable to bestow sufficient accolades. We got on like a family and all of us had a great time. Paul and I worked together on the itinerary. I provided an outline of the route I wished to take and the things I wanted to do. He tweaked that into a detailed plan, calling ahead to ensure that places were operating (thank you COVID) and making the necessary reservations. He used his extensive knowledge of wine and spirits to choose all but one of the wineries we visited and all were to my liking. He and his wife were friendly, helpful, responsible and punctual. I'm a very organized person and I'm also a very experienced traveler, so I set the bar high. Paul and his wife surpassed my high expectations and we all managed to enjoy each others' almost-constant company for 7 straight days; that's no small feat. I highly recommend Pneuma Tours. Let them help you to plan your visit and then sit back and enjoy letting somebody else execute it. Additional note about the COVID questions asked by this site: all of us were fully vaccinated so we all agreed to dispense with masks while in the vehicle. Hence, I replied "not sure" to these questions.

5.00After seeing the Cape and Boulders Beach in the morning, my long-time friend & I visited 3 vineyards in Stellenbosch in the afternoon. Paul took the time to assess our preferences & selected the wines that we experienced. We tasted so many wines that we lost count! We had lots of reds, some white & rose’, and even some sparkling. We were able to complete the tastings at a good pace & make purchases. I’ve experienced vineyard tastings in Napa, Paris, Tuscany, and other places. This was definitely my favorite thanks to Paul, and Evidence was absolutely lovely. I’m already planning a trip back!

5.00Me and my wife met Paul and his wife while eating at a restaurant, we learned that Paul was a Tour guide with specialty in Wine tours and since I love wine so much we decided to let them show us around.....by far the best decision we made while there. Paul has expert level knowledge of the winery’s there and I felt like I learned so much also his knowledge of the area and cultures there was extensive. Best pet is we both felt like we made new friends far away. We’ll definitely will be back with our kids next time and we’ll be booking them again. 🥂

5.00Hiring Paul for a private wine tour was the best decision of our stay at Cape Town. Paul used his extensive knowledge to make a wise selection of vineyards. My wife and I received an excellent education while enjoying most delicious wines. It was a wonderful day that we will remember always.
