Our family enjoyed ourselves immensely on this tour. Our local guide Justin Kim met us early at the hotel and brought us to the first location which was the Korea National Arboretum It was a very beautiful and scenic place to visit with fresh air. We were brought around the Arboretum by an experienced forest guide Park Jong Nam. After the Aritaum Tour, we had the traditional Korean course meal at the local restaurant. It was absolutely delicious with a variety of Korean main and side dishes. After lunch we were off to the Pocheon Art Valley, where dramas such as Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and Legend of the Blue Sea were filmed. The valley and lake made for excellent photo opportunities. There is a scenic cable car ride on the way up to the valley. After visiting the valley, we ended the day tour with the final stop, Herb Island, also a filming spot. The night lighting display was beautiful and it was fascinating to see the various flora which grows there. There is a lot to see in Herb Island and they also sell various items made with the herbs like soap and lotion. It was truly a memorable tour for our family and we are grateful to our local guide Justin Kim for his patience, expertise in explaining the sights, and also taking the beautiful photos of the familyan added bonus for us.
