What To Expect
Bay of the Bones Museum
Inside the museum building, you can see original artifacts from the original settlement. The best part of this museum are the 24 houses that represent a pre-historic village. Inside you can see everyday items that were used by the villagers at that time.
Driloni National Park
A beautiful place, just on the other side of the border, near the town of Pogradec.

5.00An early 8am start with our very nice guide Naum in an aircon minibus. Not many places for toilets and takes a while to get through Albania border and dont forget passports! Saw towns and rural areas in Albania which were very scenic. Had a drink and cake in Pogradec and a late fish lunch in a village near the lovely lake Prespa. Quite late back but a great value tour that our family really enjoyed.

5.00We were very happy to visit some towns and villages in Albania because Ohrid is so close to the Albanian border. Maria, from the agency office, booked our excellent guide and driver Daniel, with her information, helped us very much in our decision about what to visit in Albania in one day and not too far from our hotel. We picked up two towns and a few villages in the very rural region of Pustec. Our guide Daniel knew some people in this area and it was great to have him and to understand better the culture and tradition of this region. It was interesting to see that about 80 percent of the vehicles in the area were Mercedes, some very old ones, but some brand new ones. The region of Pustec was a real revelation. It is one of the most rural areas in Europe. There were donkeys and cows everywhere around the fields. I so much liked this trip.
