Pokhara to Phedi to Dhampus

Dhampus

Departure from Pokhara: Start your trek from Pokhara, a scenic lakeside city nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. Drive to Phedi: Take a private vehicle or public transportation from Pokhara to Phedi, the starting point of the trek. The drive takes around 30 minutes to an hour. Trek to Dhampus: Begin your trek from Phedi and hike uphill toward the village of Dhampus. The trail is relatively easy and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes. The trek to Dhampus takes around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace and breaks. Explore Dhampus: Upon reaching Dhampus, settle into a teahouse or guesthouse. Take time to explore the village, interact with the locals, and enjoy the serene surroundings. Dhampus provides an opportunity to experience the traditional Gurung culture and lifestyle. Overnight Stay in Dhampus: Spend the night at a teahouse or guesthouse in Dhampus. Enjoy a warm meal and relax in the tranquil ambiance of the mountains.

Dhapus - Phedi - Hemja to Pokhara

Breakfast: After enjoying the sunrise, have breakfast at the teahouse or guesthouse. Descend to Phedi: Start your descent from Dhampus back to Phedi. The downhill trek is relatively easier and takes around 1-2 hours. Return to Pokhara: From Phedi, take a private vehicle or public transportation back to Pokhara, and drop you back at your hotel.
