We rented two mountain bikes for the Annapurna Circuit and had an excellent experience with this shop. We completed the entire route without a guide, and the staff supported us with everything we needed from the first moment. They provided us with helmets, a multitool, pump, first-aid kit and spare tubes at no extra charge, which was extremely reassuring for such a long and demanding ride. The bikes were in great condition, tubeless, and performed flawlessly throughout the trip. Overall, very friendly, honest and helpful people. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore the Annapurna Circuit or the Pokhara region by bike. 🙏🚴♂️🇳🇵

We contacted Jagan by email and he was always very responsive to our questions and requests. We were picked up from our hotel in Kathmandu and driven by jeep to Pokhara before being fitted for our bikes, which were excellent. The hotel we were given in Pokhara was near to the bike shop and was also very good. We had a ride up to Sarangkot on our first day and the next day flew to Jomson to start our Upper Mustang tour. We cycled from Jomsom to Lo Manthang over 5 days and although some days were very tough, the scenery was amazing and the overnight stops were awesome. Tremendous hospitality and food. The accomodation was much higher standard than we were expecting as we had our own bathroom every night and hot showers most nights. The returm leg of the journey was much more dramatic as we left the roads behind and travelled more by singletrack. All in all, a fantastic tour. Jagan was brilliant at organising everything and our guide Santaram was a great rider and very knowledgeable. Thanks for everything.

High expectations were met. Riding the secluded trails around Pokhara lake. Guide was great and was able to tailor the pace. Bikes were very capable and well maintained. Recommended.

I initially contacted Jagan from NZ to organise a bike to hire for a round trip from Pokhara of the Annapurna Circuit. He was responsive and was able to assist with my needs - and those of my mates. When we arrived in Pokhara, Jagan spent at least an hour with us to ensure the bikes were suitable and we had all the information we required for our trip. We hired hard tail alloy mountain bikes with medium level components which served us incredibly well and did not break down once. The cost was $35 USD/day and, although this may be slightly towards the higher side, it’s worth it to ensure you don’t have to deal with issues along the way. Jagan also offered track assistance if there was a breakdown beyond our mechanical expertise, but we did not require this. Overall, I’d recommend Jagan for bike related needs.

Wonderful bike tour up Sarangkot. Very professionally run establishment. Mountain bikes were top notch in quality. Our guide, Debez, was fantastic. He brought us to several spots where we could look down at the entire Pokhara town and lake and the surrounding hills.

I booked an Annapurna and Upper Mustang mountain biking adventure with Pokhara MTB, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable rides of my life. From the start, communication and organisation were excellent — everything from the permits and logistics to the transport and accommodation was handled professionally. My two guides were not only an incredible riders but also deeply knowledgeable about local culture and trails, which made the journey much richer, they had an eye for detail and would stop to take amazing pictures and videos encompassing the journey for life. The route itself was pure magic — from lush valleys around Annapurna to the stark, otherworldly landscapes of Upper Mustang. Some of the climbs were tough, but the rewards were huge: flowing descents, remote monasteries, and breathtaking Himalayan views that seemed to change every hour. What I appreciated most was the balance between adventure and comfort — challenging enough to feel like a true expedition, yet well-supported and thoughtfully planned, with amazing guides and possible fastest porter in the mountains. Overall, I’d highly recommend Pokhara MTB to anyone serious about mountain biking in Nepal. Whether you’re chasing altitude, technical trails, or just the pure joy of riding through ancient mountain landscapes, this trip delivers it all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable experience — world-class trails, pro team, and genuine Nepali hospitality.

Really high spec rental bikes that are well maintained. A lot of the competing bike rentals provide lower spec equipment which wouldn't tackle some of the more technical mountain biking routes as well. I took a day tour around Pokhara. My guide, Suman, was a very competent biker and was very knowledgeable about the trails around Pokhara. He was able to offer alterations to the route to suit my needs and current trail conditions. Would highly recommend Nepal Mountain Bike for a day trek or a longer tour.

Our experience at Mountainbike Pokhara was fantastic! My brother had recommended this company because of the good and friendly Service and there was not a word to lie about that. From the first contact we were helped extremely well. Jagan, the owner, thought very carefully with us about our wishes and also took the budget into account. As a result, he was able to put together a private trip that perfectly matched what we were looking for. We immediately felt welcome and everything was organized to perfection. The mountain bike tour itself in the Mustang region was unforgettable. We first flew to Jomsom and then drove back via the villages of Kabgeni, Muktinath, Marpha, Totapanie and Chorepanie towards Pokhara. Along the way we saw so many beautiful places that it really cannot be described in words. Our guide was fantastic: caring, flexible and always willing to think along. When he noticed that we actually wanted to cycle longer, he suggested to drive from Totapanie to Chorepanie, a tough 24 kilometer climb that takes about five hours. It was spicy but absolutely worth it. Watching the sunrise at Poonhill from Chorepanie was also a breathtaking highlight. The accommodations were well arranged and we could always choose our own, tasty meals. Everything felt well cared for and flexible at the same time. Another added plus was that Jagan even selflessly helped us arrange a rafting tour to Chitwan. Despite the fact that this was difficult to find in the rainy season, he made sure that everything was perfectly arranged and we no longer had to worry about anything. Mountain bike Pokhara has far exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Jagan’s input and the great commitment of our guide, we have experienced a journey we will never forget.

Fantastic experience! My dad and I rented bikes from Pokhara MTB Adventure and honestly never looked back on our decision. The bikes we were provided with were top of the range (Scott and Treks) that could handle all the terrain we rode. We bike-packed the Annapurna circuit. Jagan, Laxman, Anil and the rest of the team were a great help - they provided us with GPX files and recommendations on which trails to try find. All-in-all a brilliant adventure and a professional service.

I did a half-day 25km bike ride from Pohkara, we went the mountain and partially around the Fewa Lake. This is a great activity for bike lovers, climbing the mountain is not easy but it is all worth it on the way down and around the lake. After the initial hill, the rest of the ride was moderate. The guide was super nice and patience and stopped for breaks and water whenever needed. I'd do it again anytime and highly recommend Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventures.
