Your adventure begins with early entry into the ancient ruins of Pompeii. You’ll have the unique opportunity to explore this once-thriving Roman city, perfectly preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, without the crowds for a more peaceful experience. With an expert archaeologist as your guide, you and small group of maximum 18 people will walk the same streets that Romans once did, peeking into shops, temples, and even a brothel—each frozen in time. You'll also see the House of the Vetti, an incredibly preserved house recently reopened after years of restoration.

The Pompeii guided tour was superb. The tour was conducted by a local guide who was formerly an archeologist. Her explanations were easy to understand, her english was very good and the audio headsets worked well. Caution: The tour description says it goes along the Amalfi coast. In our case it didn't, it stopped short, in Sorrento. Sorrento is a lovely place, though, just not Amalfi. Also, the bus had a lot to be desired - the air conditioning was inconsistent; being a sight seeing tour, visibility was unsatisfactory, especially for those in the rear seat (4 passengers of which I was one) who had no windows at all, and certain row windows were obscured somewhat by curtains in the pillars between windows.

Both guides were excellent. The guide on the bus was very helpful and didn’t get upset when my husband had some difficulty walking. The guide at Pompeii was particularly knowledgeable on the subject was personable and very professional. Overall it was a great experience.

It's a long day, so wear your comfortable walking shoes. The trip as a whole was fantastic! Had a wonderful time! If you haven't seen Pompeii and you only have one day, this is the tour for you.

The bus ride was comfortable. Vito was an awesome guide and very graceful with his knowledge of Pompeii. The Amalfi part was kind of lacklaster. If someone were to go swimming or even just get down to the beach then they would miss the bus. There were no directions to get to the beach. I think it would've been helpful if directions were included to the beach on the the pamphlet with the restaurant recommendations.

Very bad direction given for meeting point. When checked on the link for google map it shows us to wait at McDonalds. We were there 30 mins before meeting time according to the email sent out by tour operator but it happened to be the wrong place. Tried calling and chatting with them … no reply’s or no answers over the phone. Made a very bad choice.
