The trek start the from Hotel Splendid view in Pokhara and drive to Birethanti and trek to Ulleri for first night. We pass beautiful small villages Birethanti, Ramgai, Sudame, Hile , Tikhedhunga and finally in the Ulleri village 1960m, after 9km or 5-6 hours walk.
After the breakfast at the Lodge, we start second day from Ulleri to Ghorepani. Today, we trek mostly on the jungle by passing Bhanthati and Nangethati small places. Finally at the Ghorepani 2874m for overnight, 8km or 5-6 hours walk.
Wake up early in the morning to climb Poon Hill 3210m for best sunrise and Dhaulagiri and Annapurna View . After the beautiful view back to Ghorepani for Breakfast and trek to Tadapani for overnight via Thapla Nanda , Banthati. It takes 11.2km or 6-7 hours walk.
In a clear day, you will have beautiful Annapurna south, Himchuli and Machhapuchhre from Tadapani. After the breakfast trek to Syauli 5 hrs walk via Ghandruk village, 2 hrs drive back to your Hotel in Pokhara by private vehicle.

After the breakfast at your Hotel in Pokhara. We meet all the members at Hotel Splendid View. we start the trek from Hotel Splendid View, Pokhara to Birethanti. It is 42km or 1 hour and half hours drive by private vehicle.
Birethanti is nice small village, you will reach here after 30 minutes walk from Nayapul. Your trekking permit will check here at ACAP office.
Tikhedhunga
We stop here for Lunch. After Lunch, we climb 3200 steps. From here, the trail is step uphill to Ulleri. You will see beautiful waterfall and cross 2 suspension bridges.
Ulleri is a beautiful Mager village. We stay overnight at the Lodge in Ulleri.
Ulleri - Banthanti - Nangethati - Ghorepani (2870m, 8km or 5-6 hours walk )

After we start the trek from Ulleri, We pass Banthati vill at first. From this place, we trek mostly on the Jungle walk to Nangethanti.
After the 3-4 hours walk, we stop Nangethanti for Lunch. It is beautiful place in the middle of the jungle.
Ghorepani
Your guide will check in your trekking permit at the office if Tourist Police in the beginning of the Ghorepani village. Ghorepani is one of the beautiful village in this trek. You will stay this village for overnight.

The best sunrise and Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges view
After the breakfast in Ghorepani, we continue our trek. We climb to Deurali Pass which is similar height of Poon Hill. You will still have a beautiful Himalayas view. From here, trek down to Tadapani for Lunch. The Himalayas views are still there.
Ghandruk - Syauli Bazar - Birethanti - Nayapul - Lake side Pokhara ( 5.5km or2 hours walk, 2 hours drive )

We trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk. It takes 3 hours walk. Ghandruk is biggest Gurung village in the trek.

Trek from Ghandruk to Syauli Bazar with Kimche and other small villages.
Drive to Syauli Bazar - Pokhara by Bus or Jeep or Taxi depending on the group size. It is 2 hours drive.

5.00I have booked the trip in last min and managed to have a private tour guide for 5 days Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. The price was competitive and it is personalised to my time and preference. As a beginner with no prior trek training, it was not possible to make it without the help of my tour guide - Surpa. He is caring and supportive along the 5 days trek. I managed to view the beautiful Annapurna range from Poon Hill and it is definitely a once in a lifetime experience for me. Thank you for all the arrangement and accommodations. Would definitely recommend Surpa and Himalayan Trip to all!!!

5.00I finished 4-day-3-night Poon Hill Trek with my aunt who is an experienced hiker. While I am the beginner, both of us received good guidance and company from our guide, Sandeep and porter, Mani. We were always companied by one of them, safety being ensured all the time. The trek was overall not too challenging but could be tough for those without hiking experience hiking for consecutive four days. Over the 4 days, we stayed in 3 nice hotels with fabulous views. Though it was sometimes cloudy after rains, we still managed to see the snow mountains from our rooms. And when we reached Poon Hill, the view was breath-taking and absolutely worth it!
