What To Expect

The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek in Nepal's Annapurna region is a soul-stirring journey, blending Himalayan majesty with cultural immersion. As you reach the Poon Hill viewpoint, witness breathtaking dawns over Annapurna South and Dhaulagiri, moments that resonate with the spirit of the Himalayas. Day 01: Drive to Banthati, Trek to Ghorepani Start from Pokhara, driving to Banthati. Trek through forests and villages to Ghorepani, enjoying Himalayan views. Day 02: Sunrise at Poon Hill, Trek to Ghandruk Early hike to Poon Hill for a stunning sunrise over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Then, trek to the cultural village of Ghandruk. Day 03: Trek to Nayapul, Return to Pokhara Final trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul. Relish the last mountain vistas before returning to Pokhara, concluding your journey.

We just ended a three day hike through the Annapurna circuit and thanks to our amazing guides, Gobi, Raju, and Kash it became an unforgettable and amazing experience. We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the Poon Hill trek, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible guide and porters. Gobinda, our guide, was excellent—knowledgeable, professional, patient, and genuinely caring throughout the entire trek. He shared insights about the landscape, local culture, and trail conditions, always making sure we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying the moment. Our porters, Raju and Kash, were equally exceptional. They are very hardworking and kind..Their professionalism and dedication made the trek possible for us. The entire team worked together to create a very positive, stress-free, and memorable trekking experience. We felt well looked after at all times. I would highly recommend Gobinda, Raju, and Kash to anyone considering the Poon Hill trek or any trek in Nepal—they truly made this journey special.

I'd highly recommend using Trek Nepal to organise your trip. Everything was seemless, from airport pick up and drop offs and all else in between. Ari showed us around Kathmandu and he was so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. We then had Nawin take us on our 4 day trek to Poon Hill and he was equally as fantastic. It was amazing having two people who knew Nepal so well. The hotels they arranged for us were top notch also. 10/10

What a fantastic trip. Everything was well managed from the beginning to the end. Badri did us responded for all the questions we have asked. He even took us for a city sightseeing and showed us the best heritages in the valley. Our trek to Poon Hill was the best. Dhruba is experienced and knows well about the mountains and the local life. Thank you team for a wonderful experience.

We recently embarked on the Poon Hill Ghorepani trek with Trek Nepal Himalayas. I must say it was a memorable journey of a lifetime! . The itinerary was well-thought-out, ensuring we experienced the best of the trail. We took a private vehicle from Kathmandu to Naya Pool before commencing a scenic walk. Our team leader, Badri, was phenomenal. His profound knowledge of the region & its history. his excellent leadership skills made our trek smooth & enjoyable. Badri ensured our safety, frequently checking on each member & accommodating our needs was pre-booked & view was excellent. the helipad was also a nearby hotel for emergency situations which I liked a lot. The breathtaking views from Poon Hill were only made better by the help of a strong porter. the support of our group & the invaluable insights from Badri. The serenity & beauty of Ghorepani captivated us, and we know. we had such an adept team leader gave us the confidence to immerse ourselves fully in the experience. The trip was a 5-star experience in every aspect, from the picturesque landscapes to the unparalleled guidance & warm hospitality. I look forward to more treks with them in the future!

Everything was excellent - starting with the guides Budri in Kathmandu, and Gobinda my guide on my 4-day solo trek. Gobinda was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable and made the trekking experience very special - I felt well taken care of at all times : )

I did the Trek with a guide named Nawin and it was an incredible experience - he was attentive, helpful and possesses many insights about the trek and the various sights to see. The overall itinerary was smooth, fuss free and the agency was very prompt in responding to any queries. Highly recommend my guide and the agency for this trek!

Badri and Govinda were the best! They were so helpful! They did everything they could to make our trip comfortable and enjoyable. They answered countless questions about the culture of India and were warm and friendly. It felt like I was saying goodbye to family when we left.
