This was one of our best experiences on a RCCL cruise that included several New Zealand ports. We opted for this rather than one of the excursions marketed by the cruise line, and were not disappointed. The group was limited in number, so we were able to adjust the itinerary. We were able to visit a nocturnal Kiwi habitat and attend one of the bird feedings. We were also able to choose a restaurant for lunch, which wouldn't have been possible on a bus tour. The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable and able to get answers to all of our questions if he didn't have the information on hand. If you are able to have anywhere near the experience we had, I would certainly recommend this tour.
