The trip will start at Marina do Freixo, where you will be received with a welcome drink by our crew. This will be your starting point for a peaceful journey through the waters of the Douro.
You will sail towards the mouth of the river, across the 6 bridges that connect the cities of Porto and Gaia. You will have the opportunity to observe the fascinating Ribeira do Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, from its waters. On the other side, you will find Gaia, where the cellars of the sublime Port wine are located.
After crossing the Douro bridges, you will find the fishermen's village, São Pedro da Afurada, and Foz do Porto. You then arrive at the high point of the cruise, where you will face the entrance to the immense Atlantic Ocean.

5.00We had an incredible time on this trip. Alex, the skipper was fantastic. Really friendly, informative and great company. His shipmate, Maria, was equally lovely. As it turned out, there was no other booking for our trip, so our group of 3 had the boat to ourselves! We were supplied with an ample quantity of lovely wine, a beautifully presented and delicious sharing board of meats and cheeses, all finished off with some Port. This has been the highlight of our trip to Portugal so far and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a brilliant afternoon. We LOVED it!

5.00We had a fabulous couple of hours onboard with Rui and Ramos. A lovely relaxing cruise up the river towards the coast. Both guys were excellent and couldn't do enough for us. The wine was free flowing, a nice glass of local port, and a nice charcuterie board. The private cruise is definitely worth it and the way to go. Thanks again guys.

5.00Fabulous river tour with wine and snacks. Boat was beautiful. Staff (Miguel) were great. Views and wine, perfect! Would reccomend this tour to others. Leave from the Marina, which is a 45 minute walk from the Luis bridge. Lovely treat, beats the bigger boats who are based in centre.

5.00Spacious boat with plenty of comfy seating in the shade and in full sun, delightful funny chat from the 'driver' , delicious vino verdhe (free flowing!) and mixed charcuterie/ cheese plate. Beautiful views from the marina to the mouth of the river and back. Very friendly staff.

5.00The boat experience for my 4 siblings and I were the highlight of our Porto weekend adventure. We were fortunate to be skippered by Leo, a young, enthusiastic captain who proudly shared his knowledge of Porto with us while Alfonso prepared and served (3) delicious wines and a sampling of an aged Port alongside a spread of cheese and meats. We would highly recommend this outing.

5.00Our cruise with Atalaia Gold was phenomenal. Kika and Duarte were both so kind and helpful, we couldn’t have asked for a better time! The views were incredible. The snacks and wine were delicious. Truly a beautiful sunset activity and a wonderful way to see so much of Porto. Thank you guys so much for such a lovely experience!
