Enjoy a Game Drive (Safari) in Addo Elephant National Park. Home to the Big 5 - Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino. Addo Elephant Park(Malaria-free) is the third largest National Park in South Africa 176 000 hectares. Home to plus minus 700 Elephants, which is one of the most densest Elephant populations in the world.
We will enter the park via the South Gate Mathyolweni entrance which is only 30 minutes from Port Elizabeth. We will explore the South Section before heading North to the Main Camp where we will have lunch and unwind. After lunch we will head back in to the park via the main camp and explore the North section.
The Tour will be done in a 7 seater MPV,Minibus,22 seater Toyota Coaster(large windows that open)depending on the amount of passenger bookings for the particular day.
Cruiseliner guests welcome, if the ship is running late we will wait for guests to dissembark.

Poor value for money in the pure elephant park - NO Big Five !!

2.00Overall disappointing and price-performance ratio not OK. Departure at the port has been delayed by almost an hour because guests were still being "fished" to fill the minibus. Windows only partially open, contrary to the announcement no open 4x4 vehicles. Despite indication that we can "put the lost time at the back" the return trip was scheduled on time. At lunch (which we would have liked to have done without) again long wait which was missing for the safari. With the animals, the fact is that due to the nature of the park there are NO giraffes and also NO lions. A single water buffalo and no rhinos. It is a pure elephant park in the day. So definitely not a safari mood. It would easily have been possible to book an open 4 x 4 safari at short notice at the port with other providers for less money. Our intervention and criticism was only addressed by the guide on appearances. The Company did not respond to our complaint.

1.00When I booked this, the pictures and description did not explain that we would be in an actual bus where on some seats windows didn’t even open. I understand that now in the mean time, they have changed this description. The second thing that was not communicated to us was that we were going to join an intact group from a cruise ship. This made the whole day somewhat awkward for us. Lastly, there was a big delay which unfortunately was also not communicated properly. We spend almost 2 hours waiting at the gate before we even started. On top of that, the lunch break also lasted 2 hours (not sure why - but some from the cruise ship group ordered new drinks long after the agreed continuation...) I would not book this tour again.

1.00Unfortunately, we were traveling in a minibus the whole time. The windows were only open in very few places. Most of them were behind black-tinted windows. This makes it very difficult to observe and photograph. On the photos were shown open off-road vehicles, which offered the expectation that we would use them. The vehicle type was not described in detail in the booking. Very unfortunate because it does not guarantee an up-close experience to the animals.

5.00Kyle is a first class safari guide. A great day tour with plenty of wild life and excellent close up viewing of elephants and buffalo. Hotel pick up made things easy and Addo is not far from Port Elizabeth so no time wasted travelling. Strongly recommended.

5.00船に迎えに来てくれ、公園に着き、入園手続きをしてくれ、そのままその車でゲートをくぐり、2時間半の公園内ドライブ。食事休憩を挟んでさらに2時間ドライブ。園内を100kmくらい走ったのでは？ たまたま私たち夫婦だけだったので、ガイドのカイルを7時間独占。英語のみのコミュニケーションさえ不安なければ、VIP待遇みたいで最高だった。慣れたガイドなので、園内のスタッフや、他のツアーガイドとコミュニケーション取れていて、凄く楽しませてくれた。一番良かったのは20頭くらいの象の群れが車の前後を走り抜けた時。映画のシーンみたいで、これを書いてる今でも涙が出らくらい素晴らしかった。 最高に楽しかった。物凄く感謝しています。カイル、1日楽しませてくれてありがとう。プロフェッショナルな仕事、評価します。カイルの夢も叶いますよう願ってます。 Pick me up at the boat, arrive at the park, go through the admission procedure, drive through the gate, and drive around the park for two and a half hours. Take a meal break and drive for another 2 hours. Didn't you run about 100 km in the park? It happened to be just my husband and I, so I monopolized Kyle, the guide, for 7 hours. If you don't have to worry about communicating only in English, it was like VIP treatment and it was the best. Because he was a familiar guide, he was able to communicate with the staff in the park and other tour guides, and he had a lot of fun. The best time was when a group of about 20 elephants ran through the front and back of the car. It was like a movie scene, and it was so wonderful that it made me cry even now that I was writing this. It was the most fun. Thank you very much. Kyle, thank you for making me enjoy the day. Professional work, I will evaluate it. I hope Kyle's dream will come true.

5.00Fun day out with the family. We saw lots of animals including three of the big 5. The Elephant Lions and Buffalo.We saw lions mating, hopefully there will be some cubs in the park soon. Very memorable day.
