With a population of approximately 50,000 Port of Spain is the largest city in Trinidad. Your city tour of the capital includes a visit to the bustling Independence Square with its imposing Central Bank and surrounding lively shopping streets, the former Parliament Building, the Supreme Court and historic Woodford Square. The tour continues to the Queen’s Park Savannah and the "Magnificent Seven" a row of beautiful colonial style buildings. A walk in the Botanic Gardens is most rewarding. The last stop is at Fort George, a lookout point with spectacular views overlooking Port of Spain, the Gulf of Paria and surrounding areas, as far as Venezuela.

Khaleel our tour guide was very patient and understanding. I commend him for his knowledge of Trinidad. He explained everything before we left the hotel. Along the way he ensured that we paid special attention to the details of various buildings and land marks. He offered several times to stop for photo taking. Overall this tour was a great way to wind down the day after a long week of training and with Khaleel’s passion for what he does it made the moment more memorable. I will definitely recommend this tour make sure to ask for Khaleel!

This city tour of Port of Spain with Island Experiences was a really great introduction to the city. My guide Khaleel was such a cool guy. He was passionate about his country and sharing his love for great food with me. I was fortunate enough to try some amazingly flavourful soup, curry and doubles whilst with him. He knew the best places! The pace of this tour was also pretty good, lasting about three hours. Khaleel was also flexible if I wanted to stay a little longer at certain places or move on. Khaleel was also very well-spoken, and I feel with him as my guide I got a very solid introduction to Port of Spain and would 100% recommend this tour!

Enyia is wonderful. Loved seeing Port of Spain through her eyes where she shared its culture, history and natural beauty. Highlights included the Savannah, Magnificent Seven, the botanical gardens and the incredible views from Fort George with each stop paired with stories of their origin and current relevance. I would highly recommend booking this tour and others with this guide.

Great experience with Khaleel. On time pick up from our hotel and he explained the overview of the tour. We asked him to make the last stop at a recommended food stop which wasn't included but he helped us order our lunch which was much appreciated. Tour was great and very interesting and Khaleel is very easy to get on with and a great driver! Would use the company again if we return to Trinidad.

Just my friend and I on tour which was perfect. Khaleel was great at giving us a historical review of the island. It definitely was worth the price and would highly recommend!

What a wonderful and refreshing tour! Khaleel has such a welcoming and easygoing personality. He took his time and explained the sights around. He is patient and answers your questions. Being in Port of Spain during the Independence weekend was lovely to see how the buildings were decorated with Pride! Fort George has the most stunning views of the capital and west side!

Great time letting about Trinidad and its wonderful mix of cultures! Toured the city with Khalil educating us about many of the historical events. Initially, the wether was perfect for this of the year and even managed a very walk around Queens Park Savanah. Then, headed to Maracas’ beach on the north side of the island. A bit of rain but not enough go to diminish our great experience!!!
