1.00Tour operator Lokafy assigned to a local who did not show up timely, claiming "traffic jam". Port of Spain locals all know traffic conditions at that time, she knew and did it deliberately knowing tour was paid for!!!!
Company has no backup if guide is sick.

1.00We walked about 2 miles from the port to queen’s park. Even though I stated that I had no internet away from the ship. The tour guide contacted us only 30 minutes from the start of the tour to cancel due to illness. If we were contacted earlier we could have at least gotten a taxi tour.

5.00A guided walking tour is a great way to get a feel for Port of Spain. This is not a port you'll enjoy doing on your own. On the one hand it's more developed than most places in the Caribbean. On the other hand, it's definitely edgier, with reported crime issues and a fair number of homeless. But don't stay on the ship. Our guide Anika pointed out historical sites and other points of interest and took us to a street market that was thriving despite it being a Sunday.
