We booked this trip last minute in March and initially hoped for a late afternoon ride. Raúl was incredibly attentive, keeping us informed about the weather and ensuring we went out at the best and safest time. His communication was excellent throughout. Once on board, Raúl shared fascinating insights about Porto's history, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. He even treated us to a selection of different port wines, which was a wonderful touch! After the tour, Raúl recommended a fantastic restaurant that we absolutely loved. Overall, an amazing experience!

Raul and his team gave a great experience! The boat was beautiful and the wine and treats were delicious. We enjoyed the spectacular view and the warm hospitality. It was great for the kids and they even lowered the sail and allowed the children to captain the boat! I cannot recommend this tour enough!! Thank you, Raul and George!

This tour was AMaZING!! A very special experience for me and my husband! Raul is very kind and personable. He chatted with us about Porto's history and took some amazing pictures! The boat was nice and perfect for a romantic cruise up and down the river. Much more intimate that the large mass tourist boats you see. Highly reccomended.

The trip was great , we chose to go on the motor boat rather than the sailboat when we realized sailing in the river was less practical and the seats on the motor boat were very comfortable. The captain Raoul and crew are very friendly and informative. Views from the boat of the city were great and we got a chance to go out to the ocean to get a nice perspective. We also got a chance to taste different port wines on the boat. We were given a great recommendation for a seafood resterant a few blocks from the Marina where we had a wonderful meal and great service. I highly recommend this small group trip.

My family had the opportunity to take the Six Bridges Sunset tour with Captain Raul. It was a beautiful evening and we had 10 of us gathered to enjoy the excursion. Raul and his crew made sure we learned about all the major points of interest along the river in Porto, and we were treated to some delicious local refreshments and enjoyed every minute of our intimate relaxing boating adventure. This is the way to see Porto is a sunset!

We did the sunset cruise and had so much fun! Raul and George were so kind and informative, and shared cookies and three different kinds of port wine with us. We saw gorgeous views of the city from the river and also learned a lot about the history of Porto/Gaia. Raul also gave us some great recommendations for dinner and things to do around the city. It was definitely a highlight of our trip!

If you fancy a trip on the Douro river out to the Atlantic (weather permitting) on a smaller boat this is the one to go for. Raúl is a very considerate and highly knowledgeable host, we were lucky enough to be just our party of three on our trip and also the weather was good enough for the small sail to go up on the way back to the Marina. The port tasting was lovely and not from one of the « household » names, context and origin of all 3 varieties all explained by Raúl. The history of various areas and buildings was also explained and Raúl was happy to answer our questions. The marina is further out (and calmer) than the pickup points for the bigger boats and easily accessible by Uber which is very (extremely) reasonably priced in Porto. White wine by the glass outside the cafe opposite deck C is good and also very reasonable, and the marina itself is modern and a nice place to be. There are restaurants around the marina that are definitely worth checking out, ranging from family cafes to smarter fish restaurants. We did the 16H30 trip so had an early dinner afterwards, the sunset trip that day would no doubt also have been magnificent! I haven’t included photos simply because there are already many beautiful photos in the other reviews, ours were identical! Thank you Raúl and George (apologies for the spelling if wrong) for a great trip!
