I did a fantastic half-day trip to Porvoo from Helsinki, wandering the medieval old town’s cobblestone streets, colourful wooden houses, and iconic riverside red warehouses. The town felt cosy and historic, with a beautiful hilltop cathedral and plenty of little cafes and shops that made the whole visit feel relaxed but really special.

I joined this trou in an small group that almost felt private. Our guide's name was Sergio and we had amazing and fun time with him, he knows everything there's about history and culture and of course kept sharing his knowledge during the whole tour. Definitely recommend 👌

The history of Finland is very interesting, from being part of the Kingdom of Sweden to being a self-government part of the Russian Empire, and this whole transition happened in Porvoo. A small and welcoming village with medieval structures.

Helsinki is a very walkable town and safe. The public saunas, food market, streets both above and below ground make it a fun place to explore. Go to the Oodi public library to see all of the availablle options, ride to the top of Torni for. 360 degree view, and maybe a relaxing drink. Walk the side streets to see the embassies. Check out the Sibelius sculpture up close.

I enjoyed the tour. The guide was nice. I didn’t have the chance to visit the museum or the church because they were closed. The river was completely frozen so I didn’t see the full beauty of it.
