Luang Prabang
Our morning feasting tour of 15+ tastings invites guests on a culinary experience around the historical city of Luang Prabang. It's a carefully curated food adventure, led by a team of professional Laos food guides. Before we get started, your tour reflects the local cuisine and the limitations of street food vendors means we unfortunately cannot cater for every dietary restriction. Here's an honest appraisal for the tour so no-one is disappointed: ✘ Unsuitable for vegetarian diets sorry, as there would be 3-4 less tastings. ✔ Pork is used in 2-3 tastings with limited alternatives available, though the guest won't go hungry if this is your only restriction. ✖️ Unsuitable for severe allergies & halal, due to risk of traces & cross-contamination. ✔ Suitable for mild gluten and lactose intolerances, but we advise against ✖️ celiac disease, as there are traces of gluten in 4-5 tastings, including unavoidable soy sauce. Absolutely loved this food tour in Luang Prabang! It felt much more than just “trying food” — it was a genuine local experience. We explored local breakfast spots, street snacks, traditional dishes, and hidden places I would never have found by myself. Every stop felt authentic and thoughtfully chosen.

friendly, enthusiastic, and full of positive energy. He really made the experience special. The small group made the tour very enjoyable, and the quality for the price was excellent. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious. It was a great mix of discovering Lao food while also learning about the history of Luang Prabang.

Toun was a great guide on our morning tour of Luang Prabang's eateries and markets. A Chef's Tour started with bread and Lao coffee beside the Mekong River, before we proceeded to eat our way across Luang Prabang. Often with the help of tuk-tuks we tried chicken, coconut pancakes, sticky rice, noodles, dessert etc. My favourite was the khaozoy (noodle soup). We also explored the delights of the morning market. The knowledgeable Toun also explained about the history of Laos, the Golden Buddha. and the five rules to live your life by. We ended up having our own bread baked, the French way and having the pleasure of hearing Toun singing a duet with one of our number. All in all a fascinating and gentle tour. Highly recommended.

Was just myself and my friend on the morning tour. Toen our guide was absolutely lovely and accommodating. Good value for money. We enjoyed the food and felt very relaxed overall. The whole thing took around 4 hours or so but it all flew by quickly. It was a combination of walking and tuktuk. I also learned a lot about Toen’s life in the countryside and their difficulties as a community.
