I will show you a special selection of masterpieces in the best gallery in the world, while explaining the historical details of each painting, as well as the meaning and techniques used.
We will see not only the most important masterpieces in the Prado, but also some of my favorite and lesser-known pieces. You will enjoy some of the great masters: Bosch, Patinir, Rubens, Tiziano, Tintoretto, Veronese, El Greco, Goya, Velázquez ...very impressive!
And I have some other special surprises for you :-) My explanations of the legends will give you a fuller perspective of the art, and of Spanish history, overall.

5.00I went to the Prado because I knew I should but Jaime's tour has made me want to come back. The Prado is large and overwhelming but by selecting his favorite pieces thru the centuries to share with us his passion was infectious. He's knowledgeable and engaging. 5.00Jaime is an amazing tour guide. The number of pieces here is overwhelming. He choice 25 masterpieces to show us which made for a delightful tour and allowed him to go in depth for each piece and the artists’ history etc. he is very open to questions and keeps his groups small so it is truly an experience personalized to the group.
