This was a fantastic way to see a different part of Prague, away from the crowds. Our guide, Johana, made learning about the history interesting; and was more than happy to help us understand modern life in Prague, too. Riding the tram to a nearby area and walking up the steps could be challenging for some, but we looked on it as part of the adventure.

Josef was an amazing guide! I was the only person who booked, so it was a private tour, but he and some of his colleagues made it so fun! There was a large hill and steep incline, but Josef gave advanced warning. (The views were worth it!) He was also very knowledgeable about the history of Vyšehrad and the surrounding areas. It was the perfect way to end my stay in Prague!

What a fantastic tour! From start to finish Josef our tour guide was brilliant, speaking knowledgeably about a whole range of Czech subjects but particularly Vysehrad which is obviously what you would expect for a tour about the subject. His sense of humour and knowledge shone through, ensuring the tour was not only educational but really fun and never felt as if he was just rolling out a list of facts. There is plenty of walking, including quite a steep set of stairs to get to Vysehrad itself, but this was made clear on the website and the remainder of the tour was mostly flat bar the return down the same stairs. All in all I would really recommend this tour as it was great value for money and Josef was a superb guide!

Vyšehrad is truly a hidden gem in Prague. While most visitors flock to the Old Town and Charles Bridge, few take the time to explore this serene and historic part of the city offering some of the most beautiful views and quiet charm Prague has to offer. Our guide Sebastian was so very passionate about this which made the experience all the more better. Go for it !!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Sebastian. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. His deep knowledge of Czech history, mythology and traditions helped bring alive a special place in Prague. We got much more out of our visit to Vyšehrad than we would have without such an expert guide!
