This was a really nice way to get a private tour of Prague and learn about its wine history as well as sample some wine. Andrea the tour guide has a great passion for sharing her knowledge of wine and was very flexible and fun in the tour. It’s also a great way to see some parts of Prague you might not otherwise see.

The tour was excellent. We visited several unique sites that we would not have seen otherwise! Our guide’s knowledge was great and the history of Prague shared along with the wine knowledge was terrific. This was definitely a highlight and standout tour in our 14 day trip! I highly recommend this tour!

Andrea hosted us starting with a prompt pickup at our apartment in a comfortable sedan and a short drive to a public park where we had a glass of bubbly and wandered the park, learned about Prague, history and viniculture in the city. Spectacular sights and views. Then we went to the Botanical Gardens where there is a vineyard and wine tasting room where we had lovely snacks and tasted 4 wines. She nicely accommodated our vegetarian request as well. Andrea is a wealth of information about wine and “what to do and eat in Prague” and we used that info to inform our activities over the next few days. We would have absolutely not seen any of these places on our own. Highly recommend, even if you’re not a real oenophile.

This is truly a hidden vineyard tour!! We explored areas in Prague that we never would have seen without this tour! Andrea was super knowledgeable about all things wine, food and Prague. We got to meet a local wine maker and walk through the beautiful botanical gardens. It was such a unique experience that we really enjoyed and would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our tour with wine expert Gabriel on a beautiful day in Prague. He picked us up at our hotel and we drove to gorgeous Grobe Park, where we had a glass of sekt before exploring the gorgeous gardens and vineyard here. Gabriel was extremely experienced and knowledgeable and he also made sure to snap pictures of us in all the perfect spots to send later! After that, we headed for the vineyard at the Prague Botanical Garden, where we had a fun tasting of local Riesling, as well as blended white wine and a Pinot Gris to compare, and finally a Pinot Noir. There were snacks and some hearty fare to accompany the wines and Gabriel continued our education on the wines and grapes of Czech Republic! We also spent some time walking around the garden which is beautifully curated and learning about buildings nearby. Both gardens had magnificent views of the city that we enjoyed. Overall, would highly recommend this tour to anyone who likes wine and loves being outside in nature! Gabriel was charming and interesting, and it was particularly nice to have a true wine connoisseur and judge to show us around!

Gabriel was a fantastic guide. Very down to earth and a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves and I would 100% recommend this tour. Pick up was smooth and on time, the vineyards were beautiful. We had some of the best views of Prague during this tour. Gabriel is also an incredible photographer! And there are some incredible photo opportunities along the tour as I mentioned earlier. The wine was very good, we purchased a case to take home from the wine cellar we visited.

Andrea was the BEST!!!!! She was so personable and accommodating. I loved that it was private for just me and my friend. We took it at our pace, didn’t feel hurried. Had time to ask any questions. She told me things about Prague I never knew, how prominent it was in world history….i won’t give it away. And it was so interesting about the story behind the destruction of the vineyards in the 19th century. She has studied wine for years, knows her subject and has studied the history of her HOME town. It was such a wonderful balance of both subjects. Cannot recommend this more. You will be delighted!!
