Our Premium Narrated Bus Tour of Acadia National Park is an extended and enhanced version (3.5 hours - 4 hours) of our very popular Classic Tour (2.5 hours). The Premium Tour takes place on a luxury Berkshire Coach with air conditioning, panoramic front window, and super comfy seating. The additional tour time allows more flexibility, as well as extra time a stops, especially on Cadillac Mountain! Stops on the Premium Tour include Thunder Hole, Cadillac Mountain, The Jordan Pond House and Sieur De Mont's Spring. Treat yourself to a first-class trip through Acadia! ADULTS ONLY (ages 13 and up).

What To Expect

Cadillac Mountain

Extended stop on the Summit of Cadillac Mountain. Guests are welcome to get out of the bus, take pictures, explore, and use the facilities. Cadillac Mountain offers panoramic views of Mount Desert Island and the many surrounding islands.

30 minutes • Admission Included

Thunder Hole

Extended stop along the scenic Ocean Drive within Acadia National Park. Guests are welcome to exit the bus, take pictures, and enjoy the ocean views. Don't get wet! Restroom facilities available.

Our guide was wonderful ~! Knew his history. Inserted a picture to remember my experience. Arrive earlier…if the bus fills early…they’ll leave earlier. Not always done, but we were lucky.

Our Premium Narrated Bus Tour of Acadia National Park was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Ronny, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the park’s history, geology, and wildlife. His storytelling brought every stop to life — from the breathtaking views on Cadillac Mountain to the peaceful charm of Jordan Pond. What really stood out was Ronny’s ability to balance fun and facts — we learned so much while laughing along the way. He also made sure everyone felt comfortable, answered all our questions, and even shared a few local tips for the rest of our stay. The bus was clean, comfortable, and the schedule allowed plenty of time for photos and exploring. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Maine. This was a comprehensive and extensive tour of Bar Harbor and the Acadia National Park. Our tour guide, Ronald, clearly had a complete knowledge of the region’s history and main attractions. He also gave numerous humorous stories. This tour was well worth the 3.5 hours! We would highly recommend!!

This was a great tour of Acadia. It was our first time there so it really gave us a great overview of the park and we felt like we got to see the iconic areas of the park. We really appreciated all of the history and stories the guide shared along the way. He was knowledgeable. We also appreciated not having to worry about parking and navigating through the park. It was nice to sit back and just go along for the bus ride. The complimentary water was a very nice touch. The only negative was I wish the tour were a bit longer (maybe 4 hours instead of 3.5 hrs) so we could have stayed at each location a little longer. I know the guide did the best he could. The tour definitely left us wanting to go back to the park and see even more. Thank you!

Had a great experience on the Bus Tour of Acadia National Park. The bus was comfortable, and the guide was excellent. Easy to make the reservation, and find the tour start. Plenty of bathroom stops (fyi).
