Do NOT book if you expect a premium, organized, or English-friendly experience. This was a very disappointing Viator booking. The tour details were unclear from the start, and pickup was completely disorganized. I was given incorrect pickup information and waited over 30 minutes with zero communication or anyone to reach anyone. (It’s seems they just drive vans of people to the site, but there was no sign or indication the van is for this tour) No one speaks English. If you don’t speak Spanish, expect to figure out and manage logistics and timing on your own. Lunch was poorly handled and borderline unacceptable. Food was prepared and available around noon but we were not allowed to eat until 1:30 PM (seems those not on the tour got to eat first, which was 5% of people- time when I took the photo). It’s a buffet, and all the food was placed out at once and never refreshed, meaning we were eating food that had been sitting out for over a hour. Only the desserts were replenished. Food quality was mediocre at best. (Service was good thought; bring cash if you want to tip. Note: drinks are not included) The driver was a good driver. He was not a guide, provided no explanations, and offered no structure. For a tour at this price point, a guide is usually expected. The spa setting itself is nice, located in a beautiful natural area by the mountains and river. You have lots of pool options. However, the facilities are dated and there was active construction happening during the visit. This is absolutely not a premium experience and is not worth the price being charged. (Note: you also have to pay extra if you want a raggy robe-ie expect holes and stains. While it’s only $4000, would have expected something like this to be included) Overall, this tour is poorly organized, misleadingly marketed, and overpriced. I would not recommend it.

We didn’t think this tour was worth it. The van was 45 minutes late in picking us up, and the van was uncomfortable and had seen better days. The spa pools were nice, but the chaise lounges have also seen better days. While there was plenty of options for the included lunch, it was mediocre. We ended up taking an Uber back to our hotel after lunch - which the Uber was approx $25 Cnd

Excellent thermal springs set in beautiful nature. The surroundings are stunning, and despite being full of people, it never felt crowded. The service throughout the complex was extremely kind and welcoming, which really enhanced the experience. That said, there were a few downsides. The towels provided were quite worn out, and the selection at the Mercado was rather limited. The massage itself was good, but the masseuse did not change the towel on the massage table, which required a reminder and took away from the sense of hygiene and comfort. The biggest disappointment was the transportation. We booked through Viator, operated by Tangol, and the van was very old, extremely noisy, and clearly lacking proper shock absorbers. To make matters worse, around 20 people were packed into it, making the ride uncomfortable. The driver was constantly speeding, chasing cars in front, then breaking. Unsafe and reckless driving given the state of the van and the number of people in the van.

Skip this. The day is way too long and you will get trapped out there. WiFi is difficult, so prepare to unplug. If you are a spa junky, this experience is pretty sub par. The massage was terrible. The food was good. It is difficult to get around the resort as the infrastructure is poor. Be careful walking around, it’s easy to slide on the rocks and hurt yourself. If you have a nice pool at your hotel, I suggest skipping this. Also, the transport is slow and you are beholden to everyone else on the tour. There are many hotel stops so the excursion takes forever…

Beautiful place with different temperature pool options Mud bath and sauna included and a bubble jacuzzi with warm water. Very good buffet lunch and excellent waiters! Leo served us super well! A luxury! When we leave we find out there is only one shower in the Men's bathroom and another in the women's bathroom and they do not provide you with soap or shampoo and rinse even if you want to pay it is not available. This would be a good thing to offer...

I would advise to book into the hotel spa yourself and then save a lot of money. We paid approximately $500 Australian dollars for two people and still had to organise our own transportation to the hotel spa. Then we had to queue not once but twice and pay for a ratty gown. We were told we would receive vip treatment/ experience but were treated like second class citizens. At lunch we had to wait and queue for a third time as we stood and watched the hotel guests eat their lunch. It was actually insulting. The thermal spa was great so just the trip yourself.

The thermal springs were wonderful. However the transportation to the location was not so good. The bus was 45 minutes late and there were no updates from the tour operator. We were all wondering if they would come at all. My partner and I got the last two seats at the back of the bus which was hot and crowded. We should have booked this independently and just taken a taxi or uber.

Wonderful and relaxing experience. Beautiful view, warm waters and rejuvenating mud. Very well worth the spa day. Only it wasn't perfect pq didn't like the buffet.

Unfortunately the weather turned colder that day, but that did not distract from the beauty of our surroundings. I think it's better suited for couples. The lunch buffet was excellent. Limited English spoken.
