While I had been to Pretoria once before, this tour was the first time I got to see the Kruger House Museum and the Voortrekker Monument with it's carved history scenes of the settling of South Africa.Wilem made these visits come alive with his commentary. It was a history lesson. He dropped us off at the airport and even helped with our bags.A wonderful day.

We spent our last two days of a SA trip in Pretoria. Patrick hit all the key spots, but just as interesting was our interaction, learning about his experience as an idealistic man living in a changing country. At the end of the second day Patric dropped us off at the Jo'burg airport. He asked if I had any local money left to pay a porter, and then gave me 20 Rand. A last kindness on the way out of the country.

The tour yesterday was fantastic, starting with the Voortrekker Monument and it's history, the magnificent Union Buldings, historic Church Square and passing other architectural interesting buildings such as the train station, where the blue train leaves from. A quick stop for lunch and our guide in a sturdy Mercedes whisked us off to Cullinan, where the largest diamond in the world was found - now part of the Royal Jewels in London and no we were not allowed to pick up any shiny pebbles! Our guide had at least 7 local language, English and Afrikaans and French too as he had studied in Paris. He was so informative and helpful. We thank him and Patrick for the professionalism. We will certainly use this company again in August and would recommend this company to locals, visitors and the diplomatic community here in Pretoria.
