Our private charter experience on Bonaire is unmatched. As the only American yacht operators on the island, we understand the importance of personalized service. At the same time, our goal is to make you feel like you are with old friends, exploring new places!
Climb aboard our 43' sailing catamaran to explore Bonaire from above the water & down below! You are in good hands with Captain James, a USCG certified Boat Captain.
Set sail for a 4.5 hour tour of Bonaire with stops for swimming/snorkeling. Enjoy a meal and beverages made to your preference sheet.
1/2 Day Tour:

End time: 2:00 p.m.

Bonaire National Marine Park
Experience the wonder of Bonaire by sailboat as we cruise the Marine Park.
Klein Bonaire
Stop at the small, uninhabited island across from the main island of Bonaire. Only accessible by boat, it’s a perfect place to snap photos, experience drift snorkeling, and take a walk on one of the few sandy beaches of Bonaire.

Snacks and a grilled meal is provided on every day trip. Please contact operator to complete a preference sheet prior to your charter.

A must do in Bonaire

5.00We had a brilliant time sailing with Julia and James (with chef Leo) on their boat. Very welcoming and fun. They are some of the most down to earth people we could wish to meet. We were able to do some snorkelling with Julia and learn a little about the marine life in the reefs of Bonaire which are just stunning themselves. We were served some incredible food by the chef Leo whilst James was steering the boat to our next spot. We sailed across to Klein Bonaire to have a swim in the reefs there. These were also stunning and full of life... the only negative is... I wish we had more time. Unfortunately we had an early all aboard time on our cruise ship. We felt really accommodated and were even picked up and dropped off at the cruise terminal. This is a must do in Bonaire and we plan to be back... currently looking at March/April 2028.. pencil us in! Thank you for such a great time!

5.00We chartered the Lost Cat for a birthday celebration for a good friend. We had a wonderful time - snorkeled at Klein Bonaire, watched a beautiful sunset and had a terrific dinner prepared by Chef Leo. A wonderful birthday treat!

5.00I can't reccomend this more. James and Julia were fantastic. So many laughs and memories. We did do two boat dives and Brandon was a fantastic dive master. We saw eals, lionfish, flounders and so much more. Oh and the food is amazing!!!
No better way to experience Bonaire!

5.00We (3 couples) met Julia at the entrance to the marina at 9:30am, as instructed in her very helpful emails, and after a short tour of the boat, we were off on our half day charter with Captain James. It was sprinkling a bit, but the adorable Leo fed us breakfast while we waited for the rain to pass. Delicious! He fed us all day, so come hungry! What a treat to eat meals and snacks prepared by a real foodie. Wish we would have had time to get to know him better. Hasta la proxima aventura, amigo! Gracias por el pastel de cumpleanos, tambien. Julia, James and Leo went above and beyond to make our experience all day. Examples: Asking our food and drink preferences ahead of time (and finding actual Diet Coke!), providing Fat Boys to lounge on, and towels and sunscreen, diving down and pointing out sea creatures on snorkels, rescuing me with the boat when I was getting seasick, selecting music just for us, just to name some. Thank you! Bonaire is a special place. It has a rustic beauty, incredible scenery, and a chill vibe that is impossible not to love. Do yourself a favor and enjoy it on Life@8Knots' catamaran. PS Harbour Village provides free private parking just across the street from the marina, which we really appreciated after taking other tours leaving from other marinas, which had us scrambling to find parking.

5.00Amazing crew! The food served was delicious and the hospitality was incredible. Super friendly! The snorkeling was great and they even helped us spot dolphins we got to snorkel with. The boat was super nice and clean. 10/10 recommend.

5.00We were a group of 4 couples celebrating an anniversary. Captain James and Julia went above and beyond. We toured the island, snorkeled off Klein Bonaire, and enjoyed the tacocat lunch. We added an additional hour to our trip also. The catamaran was wonderful, with the best spot being at the front of the boat. We learned a lot about the island from Captain James. Julia was quick to respond to all of my messages and emails. If you are looking for a private tour for your small group, this is the one to take.

James and Julia, along with Leo, helped us celebrate my husband's 50th birthday with a special dessert. We can't wait to do it again one day!
