Mae Klong Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market)

Pick up from hotel in Bangkok at 07:00 a.m. Transfer to Maeklong railway market by private car transport. Enjoy viewing the train passing the market on train track and taste some local desserts or fruits. to visit "War Cemetery" which is the main prisoner of war cemetery for victims of Japanese imprisonment while building the Thai-Burma Railway. The cemetery contains 6,982 graves of British, Australian and Dutch prisoner of wars of which 6,858 have been identified.

Drive to the pier and on board private long tail boat for canal tour to Damnoensaduak Floating market (about 30 mins). Enjoy shopping, tasting local desserts and fruits or boat noodle and walking around Damnoensaduak Floating market, the original floating market of Thailand.

Kanchanaburi War Cemetery

Transfer to visit "War Cemetery" in Kanchanaburi which is the main prisoner of war cemetery for victims of Japanese imprisonment while building the Thai-Burma Railway. The cemetery contains 6,982 graves of British, Australian and Dutch prisoner of wars of which 6,858 have been identified. Optional to visit Thai-Burma Railway museum if time permitted.

River Khwae Bridge

Continue to "Bridge Over the River Kwai", the bridge which built to cross the river kwai during WW2 by the prisoner of war. The steel bridge is a part of the former death railway (Thai-Burma railway) and the historical important landmarks and memorials in Thailand which is also famous by the movie of the same name.

Tham Kra Sae Bridge

Transfer visit "Tham Kra Sae (Krasae cave)", which used to be the rest area of prisoner of war during the the railway and bridge construction. Enjoy sightseeing on the railway bridge. On board the local train and ride along the former death railway (about 30 minutes) before transfer to hotel in Kanchanaburi. Have an optional dinner at resort.

Erawan Waterfalls

Pick up from hotel in Kanchanaburi. Transfer to "Erawan Waterfall", one of the most beautiful waterfall in Thailand, located in Erawan National Park. Enjoy walking to the waterfall, relax, take photos or option to trek up to the top level (7th tier) of the waterfall. Note : 1. Please prepare wet suit, good trekking shoes and insect repellent for waterfall visit 2. Please advise your specific food requirement e.g. no spicy food or vegetarian.

Wat Tham Sua

Then visit "Wat Tham Sua" or Tiger Cave Temple, explore the temple where you can view the most beautiful sitting Buddha image in Kanchanaburi. Have an included Thai set Lunch at the local restaurant around the temple.
