I cannot recommend Yahyah Algabri from Oman Sharing Tour highly enough. From the very first day in Muscat, Yahyah made me feel completely comfortable as a solo traveller. We began with a half-day city tour and his knowledge of Muscat and Omani history is impressive. He took the time to show me all around the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Royal Palace, the Opera House and surrounding areas. He was always offering to take photos and captured the most natural, candid moments, the kind of photos you genuinely treasure later. Today was our second day and somehow even more special as we left Muscat and drove into the Wahiba Sands Desert. Along the way, we stopped to try delicious local Omani sweets and explored an old village with watchtowers and abandoned houses. Yahyah shared so much history of the area and gave me plenty of time to wander and explore without ever feeling rushed. He has a great sense of humour and made the entire day relaxed and enjoyable. It was clear how well known and respected he is. He seemed to know everyone along the way, stopping to greet people and chat, which made the experience feel very local and authentic. He organised dune bashing with a local family and helped me settle into my desert accommodation with ease. Everything felt effortless. Once in the desert, Yahyah organised quad bike riding at the perfect time and captured incredible photos and videos of me riding from a distance. He then took me to a beautiful sunset location and made the experience playful and fun, again taking wonderful photos without it ever feeling staged or forced. We returned from sunset to enjoy a shared dinner together. Later, Yahyah suggested a short walk away from the camp lights so we could properly see the stars, which was a really special moment. We then returned to sit around the fire, listening to music and enjoying the calm of the desert night. Travelling solo, Yahyah made me feel like I was not alone, which I truly appreciated. He is calm, gentle and thoughtful, and his presence made this experience incredibly special. I also highly recommend the company that organised the tour. I had enquired with several providers, but Oman Sharing Tour stood out immediately. They were confident, professional and made me feel I could trust what I was booking. They were also very helpful and flexible, allowing me to tailor the tour to suit my wishes, including choosing Desert Rose Camp, which was an amazing property. Swimming in a pool in the middle of the desert was a magical experience and made for a very special day. Today we continue with a coastal adventure including Wadi Shab, the Bimmah Sinkhole and the white sands along the coast, and after the last two days I cannot wait to see what’s next. This has already been one of the most memorable parts of my trip. I would highly recommend Yahyah and Oman Sharing Tour to anyone visiting Oman. 🙏😍

We’ve just returned from a 1.5-day trip with our tour guide, Abdul Rahman. He truly embodies the warm and welcoming spirit of Oman. He was extremely attentive throughout the entire journey, while still giving us space to explore on our own. Every small detail was taken care of, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy each moment. Abdul is fluent in English and is highly knowledgeable, not only about the specific sites we visited but also about Omani history, culture, and traditions in general. He shared many interesting historical facts and insights that made the experience even richer and more meaningful. He also has a great eye for photography and took several beautiful pictures of us, which will certainly remain wonderful future memories. The itinerary included: • Stop 1 – Wadi Bani Khalid: a bit crowded, but worth visiting • Stop 2 – Bedouin’s house: a fascinating insight into traditional Omani culture • Stop 3 – Desert: a must-do experience • Stop 4 – Ibra town: absolutely worth a visit, including the small museum

We spent two days with family and friends for a tour in the desert, along a stretch of coast and in the Wadi with Khalil. Khalil proved to be the perfect guide: kind, competent, always available to meet our requests and answer our questions. Highly recommended for a nice travel experience in Oman. Thanks for everything!

Khalid is an outstanding guide - excellent company, thoughtful, responsive, expertly knowledgeable, funny, enjoyable, authentic and genuine. He drives expertly and more importantly knows how to make clients feel valued and relaxed. With him we experienced true Omani hospitality. We will never forget our two days with him. We had a wonderful time and next time we will book a week. The tour itself is a great mix of locations - the Wadi and the desert are spectacular and the ancient sites (souk and old villages outside Ibra) are fascinating. The Omanis we met along the way are so welcoming and every aspect of the tour was smooth, easy and enjoyable. It’s a special and wonderful experience and Khalid was perfect.
