This half day 2 tank scuba adventure is good for certified divers . Our maximum number of passengers is 6.
We will dive on two of our pristine local reefs from the Dragon Fruit charter boat. If you need to rent scuba equipment that is available.
Ruthie and Captain Michael Scott are seasoned hosts both on and off the water. The Captain’s 30 years experience includes 19 years sport fishing and the last 10 running a commercial dive boat. Ruthie is a PADI Instructor and swimming instructor and has 15 year experience in hospitality, including the last 10 owning a restaurant in Florida. Their first boat, the Dragon Fruit, is a 32 foot super fun loving sport fishing boat well suited for snorkeling and scuba diving, and dining.

Fajardo
Join our PADI SCUBA Instructor for a VIP 1300 private guided tour on one of our gorgeous reefs in the beautiful Northeast waters of Puerto Rico. Our Captain and mate are 100% committed to your safety and enjoyment. You'll be served lunch, typically sandwiches with all the fixings on fresh-baked bread, along with water, drinks, sodas, and beer. This is a 2-tank dive. Reefs vary from 25-92 feet, with most averaging around 40. We see a wide variety of marine life and an active reef environment, including turtles, rays, lobsters, nurse sharks, and countless reef fish. We even have a coral restoration farm to tour. If it’s been a while since your last dive, let Ruthie know for a refresher. We can also arrange Discovery Dives for uncertified divers after booking. We do not offer wetsuits for rent. Water temperature averages 84 degrees. We provide masks, snorkels, and fins. We have BCDs and regs for rent from XXS to XXL.

5.00Scotty and Ruthie were such great hosts. They gave us a really great day of a private scuba tour. So much nicer than being on a big scuba boat where you don’t get any personal attention. We would certainly recommend Simpatico to anyone looking for a personal experience. It was so nice to be able to set our tour time and they were incredibly flexible with our schedule.

5.00Ruthie and her husband were amazing!! They made us feel at home and comfortable. Their passion for diving is contagious. They provided great drinks, food, and snacks between diving. I highly suggest booking with them. They are professionals and know how to make the most of your dive time. I have dived all over the world and the diversity of marine life was once of the best i have ever seen. Also, ruthie took video, edited it, and provided us with a copy after. 5 Stars!!

5.00I highly recommend Sympatico. My son and I had 2 beautiful and chilled dives and good food and drink. Ruthie is an excellent dive master and guide. I don’t understand TripAdvisor’s algorithms but if you look at 5 star reviews this should be one of the highest rated charters.

5.00Stephen & Nanci, Monday 11 Dec; Simpatico Charters for private guided dives with Ruthie (divemaster) and Scotty (boat captain). Very windy and heavy seas. Ruthie had called us the day before and invited us to come early if we wanted to, so we got there around 1pm. Spent ½ hour getting to know each other and discussing our skill level, and current and wind issues that may affect our dives. Ruthie said we would go out toward the outlying islands and see if we could make the dives happen. If not, we would return and they would refund our money. Once we got to the lee of one of the islands, the seas were diminished and Ruthie determined we could safely dive. She reviewed safety rules and hand signals with us and we geared up (dive gear was included). Water temp 84° so no wet suits required. No current to speak of at depth of about 20-22 ft. Good 40 min fam dive to practice skills and for Ruthie to assess our abilities. Back on the boat, Scotty had chicken kabobs & corn-on-the-cob from the grill, with pasta salad, plantains & fresh apple wedges. After lunch, Ruthie decided we were quite capable of diving the reef farther out, so we moved the boat out to the reef and did our second dive. The tour was scheduled for 2-4pm, but turned out to be 1-6pm. Ruthie was a great divemaster. She never rushed us and was very considerate to make sure we got what we wanted out of our SCUBA adventure. Looking forward to going again Thursday.

5.00Do not hesitate to book this tour. This tour is like diving with your own family. From the moment we arrived until our departure we felt right at home and Ruthie and Scotty made the day very memorable for all of us. This was my kiddos' first dive after being certified (thanks to covid) and it could not have been a more perfect setting to get them reacquainted with the whole process. Ruthie was very reassuring with them and extremely helpful with hints and tricks of the trade that helped all of us. The boat was comfortable and we were out to the reefs in no time. Ruthie knows the reef well and took great pictures and videos throughout the day and sent us an awesome video as a memento. Lunch was simple and perfect since we were ready to get back in the water as quickly as possible. The communication before our adventure was very helpful and we discussed possible weather issues and options. Ruthie even sent a helpful contact for a taxi service the day before so I could arrange getting to and from their location in advance. After diving we even had a little friendly splash contest to see who had the best dive form off the boat. The whole day was so much fun!!!! We would dive with them again in a minute.

5.00Ruthie and Captain Scotty run an amazing dive operation! This is the most personalized diving experience I have ever had. From the moment of initial contact through our return to the dock at the end of our two days they were top notch. The boat is comfortable and never overcrowded. Captain Scotty knows his way around the ocean and Ruthie does an excellent job choosing dive sites that offer both amazing topography and fish life. We had mentioned that our cameras weren't working on one day of diving and we would love to return to one specific dive site to try and capture some photos because the fish life was amazing and they made it happen (the weather cooperated which was the go/no go call but I think Ruthie called in a favor to Mother Nature ;) ) The lunch provided during the surface interval was also top notch like everything else. Overall, had it not been for Ruthie and Captain Scotty I don't think we would have enjoyed the diving as much as we did. I cannot recommend Simpatico Charters enough and will not dive anywhere else when visiting Fajardo.
