We had a great time on High Tide. Crew was fantastic and the boat was very comfortable. Management worked with us around a couple days of bad weather.

My husband and I went on an afternoon snorkel and sunset sail with Captain Dan and First Mate Eric aboard the Conch West, leaving from the Perry Hotel Marina. Our experience was seamless from the start. We exchanged a few texts with Captain Chris to understand the different charter packages and available vessels. Once we settled on the monohaul sunset sail, booking was a cinch. The team at Sunset Sail Key West sent prompt reminder messages with the location and we had no issues at all with the credit card booking. All of this pales in comparison with the actual experience of being out in the water with Captain Dan and First Mate Eric. From the start we felt welcomed, as if we were just crashing on our friends boats for an afternoon out. The sailboat’s cooler was packed with water, sodas, and sparkling water. They also had a generous fruit platter, hummus and pita chips. We brought some beers which chilled there nicely while we were on our way out to the reef. The reef we sailed to was large, colorful… just breathtaking. We have snorkeled in other areas before and were just in awe with the size of the reef and the variety of wildlife. We had essentially the whole place to ourselves. The gear provided by Sunset Sail was in pristine conditions, and team was especially helpful in adjusting it to fit securely but comfortably. The ride back into Key West was punctuated by the most perfect sunset. The team ensured we had the best views, sailing towards the sun until it fully nestled into the horizon, and only then steering back into the Perry Hotel Marina. We’re grateful for the wonderful conversations, the lively music (catered to taste!), and the overall experience. Capitan Dan and First Made Eric made our trip unforgettable.

My partner and I had a fabulous day on a private charter sail with Harley the captain and Kasey the first mate. Harley’s knowledge of sailing and the sea was impressive. They were both very hospitable and fun hosts and our day of sailing was relaxing and fun and also informative. I would do it again in an instant. They were wonderful. One of our best days in Key West!!!

We find snorkeling in Key West to be hit or miss in winter as the winds and cold fronts pushing thru can stir up the water and reduce visibility. And the crowds on the bigger boats can be less fun. So this trip we booked some time on a snorkel sail with Sunset Sail Key West. The snorkeling visibility wasn't so great, but the time on the boat was. We sailed to Gulf side locations and snorkeled at each. Enjoyed the warm sun and saw areas we had not been to before. Captain and crew were competent and just nice to be with. A great way to unwind after travel.
