Interesting your with lots of options! I am honestly surprised at how busy Kandy is, I thought it would be a sleepy little town but nope it’s hustle and bustle. I really enjoyed the tea factory most and learning about the different types of teas and how they’re made. Watching a man swallow fire and walk on fire during the cultural show was also pretty amazing! The scenic view from the restaurant was wonderful. The botanical garden is a great place for pictures and Sanchitha has a great eye and takes amazing photos!! The Buddhist temple was an interesting experience with lots of surprises. Ladies be sure to bring something to cover your shoulders and knees and I also recommend a hat and sunscreen for the sunny days. But honestly Sanchitha makes the tours wonderful. He is an amazing guide. Excellent English, respectful and mindful of his guests, what’s concerned for your comfort and enjoyment of the overall experience. Flexible to your needs. He helped me find a pharmacy to get some much needed items, that was clearly a detour he didn’t have to take and I was very grateful for that. He even stopped for another detour so I could try out some authentic Sri Lankan sweets not available in Colombo. I am a solo female traveler and I felt very safe and comfortable. I even hired Sanchitha for two indictable tours because I trusted him and knew he’d curate the best experience while making sure I hit all the highlights. Highly recommended guide and company. The tour was lovely and I’m glad I was able to do it in one day, catch all the highlights and have a good time. Highly recommended guide and company. The tour was lovely and I’m glad I was able to do so much in one day without feeling tried or exhausted. It was a lot of fun!! Highly recommended tour, especially if short on time. And the guide is fantastic!!
