This tour is predominantly aimed at experiencing the towns and scenery of the Amalfi Coast more than interior visits to historic sites.

What To Expect
Amalfi Coast
Enjoy a relaxing drive trough the Amalfi Coast making photo stops along the way. Discover Positano the "Jewel of the Amalfi Coast" Explore Amalfi,the main town of the Coast and the birthplace of Limoncello. Be enchanted by the stunning views from the hilltop of Ravello. The itinerary can be certainly customised according to your needs,but please note that some areas may not be accessible with a stroller /wheelchair or for people with limited walking abilities. This tour is predominantly aimed at experiencing the towns and scenery of the Amalfi Coast more than interior visits to historic sites
Archaeological Park of Pompeii
The day will start with a drive by the Sorrento Coast. After about a 45 minute drive, we'll arrive at the ruins of Pompeii, the first stop on this breathtaking day tour where you will have the opportunity to see one of the most important archeological sites in the world! Pompeii was part of an ancient Roman city destroyed and buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Either licensed guides can be arranged ahead of time (additional cost) or you can visit the site on your own. However you choose to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will be in awe as you see the remnants of this 1st century city which offer some insight into the Roman life that came to a premature stop there on 24 August AD 79. After this amazing historical experience you can choose to continue our tour to Herculaneum or visit a local family Winery located at the foot of Mt.Vesuvius

5.00We had a fabulous time! Vinnie was an excellent tour guide and a very careful driver. He took great care to show us the most important and the most beautiful sights all along the way. Vinnie is very friendly, upbeat and anxious to please. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend Umberto and Vinnie!

5.00Our private drive from Naples train station to Sorrento was amazing. From start to finish, all request were replied quickly and quote given was exact! Our driver, Vincenzo picked us up at Napoli Centrale station and was incredible. He talked about landmarks along the way and was super friendly. Vincenzo even stopped on the side of the road at a lookout so we could take a picture and we had granita. I highly recommend Vincenzo when you book with Umberto.

5.00Vincenzo "Vinnie" was amazing. He was professional, engaging, knowledgeable and by the end of the day, we had become friends. He took us to some special places, that were not the popular tourist areas. It was one the our favorite days on this trip to beautiful Italy!

5.00Nico was the absolute best! He took us to Pompei for a tour and then suggested a wonderful lunch spot! We requested him for a private Amalfi tour. He is a photographer and took the most wonderful photos of us in beautiful spots on the coast. We ended up going to his suggested lunch spot as well as the most magical dinner ever and he got us the reservation at Donna Emma. He is warm and friendly and enthusiastic! He dresses beautifully and made us feel like royalty. Please request Nico as he is the best! We used Umberto for all of our private car needs and we had other drivers but Nico was our favorite ❤️

5.00The tour was great and enjoyed by the whole family. Umberto did a fantastic job on the Amalfi Coast tour, driving in heavy traffic while still pointing out sites and landmarks of interest. He also drove us from Rome to Naples, as well as from Sorrento to the Naples airport for our return flight home. Very friendly and engaging, a true professional. Very deserving of 5 stares!

5.00Our driver, Nico, was absolutely incredible. He’s a local to the Sorrento area and truly knows everyone — and everything — which made our trip feel so authentic and special. We drove with him for three days in a row, and each day was better than the last. He suggested the best spots to visit, shared amazing stories, and taught us so much along the way. He made us feel like family from the very first day. We especially loved exploring the Amalfi Coast with him. December was the perfect time — beautiful, peaceful, and not crowded — and he always gave us plenty of time at each stop to really enjoy it. Kind, thoughtful, professional, and genuinely wonderful to be around — Nico truly made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend! The Garcia Family from New York

5.00My husband and I had the pleasure of two experiences with Nico from Umberto Limos Positano. He was our driver as we spent a full day exploring the towns of the Amalfi coast. Nico was prompt, very courteous, well prepared and knowledgeable. We felt extremely comfortable in his company. That day was a highlight of our trip. Nico also provided efficient and friendly transportation for us to Pompeii and to Naples. In all, it was an excellent experience for us.

5.00This is our second year in a row using Umbertos limo service Both years we have had Nico as our driver. He is a wonderful passionate man when it comes to his love for his country Italy the information that he shared with us about the country and its wonderful history was absolutely amazing. I have family in Caserta so we use Umberto service to drive to my family’s home. Nico accompanied myself and my friend to my to my family’s home, sat had espresso and desserts with us and even help translate as Nico and one of my other cousin spoke English very well it was just a wonderful experience and my family was very fond of Nico my friend and I returned to Italy this past November 2025 and again Nico was our driver this time he was able to pick us up at the train and Naples. Take us to Sorrento. Then another day of our stay took me back to visit my family and again he stayed and had a wonderful time with us He truly felt like part of my family. Our last day in Sorrento, we had the privilege of having the owner Umberto take us back to Naples to the train. This was the first time I met Umberto in person as we have done business and I have recommended my Travel Agent at home and other friends, his business. We have spoken Umberto several times via WhatsApp not only is he a gentleman via text and on the phone. He is even more of a gentleman in person. I have never dealt with a more classy car service business, and I have used many in my time nUmberto‘s limo all his drivers are professional, but I always choose Nico. My friends have had other drivers and all have raved about their knowledge, experience and love of their country. This was the best way in my opinion to see Italy in a day or at least the southern part of Almafi Sorrento and Positano. I cannot wait for my next adventure and I definitely be using Umberto Limos. 5.00We booked a day tour with Umberto. We wanted to see Pompeii and as much as we could before returning to our cruise ship. Leo picked us up on time from the dock. We had a wonderful day with Leo driving us to Pompeii where we met our tour guide that Umberto booked for us-and had a great tour- saw so much- perfect pace- very knowledgeable and friendly! Leo booked us a fantastic lunch- we saw and shopped Sorrento- and got us back to the port with plenty of time.We never felt rushed and had a perfect day. Thank you!
