I am the only one to offer the furnace just for you! It'll be just you inside the studio, the master with 40 years of business and me in addition to guiding the furnace! It's not the tour where you see sitting, but you're going to make the glass.

What To Expect
Write me at : [email protected] The taxi or boat will pick you up at your hotel or pre-arranged place. It is not a Tour where you look and take pictures, here you will work the Glass, together with the Master Glassmaker. Production will be stopped for almost an hour and you will have the entire furnace at your disposal. The teacher will explain you while you or your partner, will make a work, from the glass to a jar,... in short, let's see your ability!! You, with your skills, will create the object. What you create, with the help of the master will be shipped to your home. You will start from the rising of the incandescent sand from the oven, turn on the Bronzino... and you will do the blowing!! You will join the pieces you have produced and put them to cool in Tempera! AMAZING. This experience helps you understand how incredible glassblowing is and is an introduction to buying unique pieces! This activity is not a game for children, but a real glass processing and production. Eventually you will access the exclusive private unique gallery and Good Shopping. Remember this tour is meant to set you up for sale, not a game so much to create your own piece!

5.00Yes it is an expensive experience, but where else would you actually get to make glass yourself and in Murano the top place worldwide for glassmaking ! On all the other tours you watch people make the glass. Not this one! This one you make 2 drinking glasses and get to keep them. Daniel our guide/interpreter and the 2 expert glass blowers made the experience out of this world. We were involved with every step and you can see why it takes 12 years to train. They made it truly special. In March on a wet and rainy day the temperature of the workshop was fine, I worked the glass while still wearing a cashmere cardigan! My advice is to do the experience at the beginning of your stay. The glasses take at-least 24 hours to cool in the annealing oven. If, like us, you leave Venice before you can collect them, they can be posted to you for an extra charge. In our case €95 to the UK.

5.00Incredible experience. David was an amazing guide who was very friendly and entertaining. Picked us up directly from our hotel in his boat and took us to Murano. Visited a family run glass factory that makes chandeliers. Had a hands-on experience in the glassmaking process and were able to take home souvenirs. Would highly recommend David and the tour!

5.00Oh my goodness!!! I loved it with all my heart! Grazie to you and Giulia and Franco and Danielle!! Amazing once in a lifetime experience I will never forget. Anyone that I speak with in the future that may be coming to Venice to get the glass blowing experience MUST book with you!! Franco was so patient and knowledgeable and Danielle was the perfect helper!! I wish I had a million dollars I would have bought everything in the gallery and I would gladly work for free to learn the craft. What you do is truly art and so beautiful and there are not enough words to say how appreciative I am for you to allow me in to your private workspace and watch your process. And Giulia is now my best friend in Venice!! She was so wonderful, friendly and socialable.. you couldn’t have picked a better person to guide the tours! 😚🤌🏻

We now have our own unique, handmade tumblers that are precious to us and new family heirlooms! Davide shared interesting local knowledge and his close relationship with everyone we met added depth and fun to the experience. We started as strangers and left feeling like family!
