When visiting Tromsø, exploring Kvaløya is a must do! Islands packed with raw landscapes, endless mountains, arctic beaches, to breathtaking fjords, and (frozen) lakes.
Enjoy the ever changing landscapes, and be sure to look out for roaming wildlife. We have the possibilities to spot soaring sea eagles, native reindeers, and the elusive moose. There will be several scenic stops along the way, perfect for photo moments, which we will share with you after the trip. Upon reaching the archipelago islands, we will enjoy an organic homemade light picnic, and a warm drink. As we continue through the mountain valley, passing quaint fishing villages, and making a final stop at one of the most dramatic fjords on the island.

5.00What a fabulous road trip! Anna was an absolute delight to spend time with and not just because of her experience and knowledge of the area, but also because she was just really lovely and friendly. We got to see lots of beautiful parts of Kvaloya and Sommarøya despite some of the adverse weather. Would highly recommend to any families, but be sure to specify the ages and weights of any children to the booking team so they can be provided with the requisite booster seats ahead of time 👍🏽

5.00We are glad we chose to do this trip because it was a very intimate experience with a small group of people. Our guide Sebastian was very nice and explained us many things during the trip. He also took as many pictures from us and the landscape as we wanted and then shared them all. As if it weren’t enough, he as well homemade a delicious sandwich for us to eat! During the excursion, we enjoyed the amazing views both from the minivan and during our several stops and also made a small walk around a very nice beach in Sommarøy. Finally, on our way back, Sebastian took us to a place where we could see some reindeers to give us a complete experience all along.

5.00Great 5 hour excursion this Sunday to the Island of Samaroy in Van with a small group of 6 and our guide Michel It was one of my best excursions of my vacation in Norway Great day with good humor We saw mountains, fjords, beaches, fishing villages and wildlife. Our guide, Michel, took us around the island and told us the history and also what it's like to live there today. he also took great photos of the participants that we will receive by email. We enjoyed a delicious picnic prepared with local ingredients and taken in front of a stunning beach Overall, a great day

5.00We booked the Arctic Roadtrip with Scenic Picnic as a private tour for our port stop in Tromso, and had a wonderful day. They were quick to respond to all emails sent when we were booking the tour, as well as the morning of when it appeared the ship may have docked at a different port than expected. Michel picked us up at the scheduled time, was very friendly, and informative. He was also very helpful when there was a slight hill I had to walk up/down (I have a slight disability that affects my balance). Michel drove us to scenic spots no tour bus could ever get to, and we had a wonderful lunch on a quiet beach with a beautiful view. He was more than happy to take pictures of us with our phones, and later that night I received a link to the pictures he took with his camera. Tromso and the surrounding towns were absolutely breathtaking, and the tour far exceeded our expectations.

5.00Our tour with Jeff was Amazing. We were a party of 4 and wanted to see the fjords and fishing villages. Everything was perfect from the start. We saw reindeer and the artic scenery but the best was the fantastic photos Jeff took or us and the scenery capturing our day. We had a delicious lunch prepared by him and he even shoveled off the picnic table and placed deer hides to sit on to keep us warm. I highly recommend this trip with Northern Soul Adventures.
Highlight of our short visit to Tromso. Beautiful Arctic scenery, with an outstanding guide.

5.00Reindeer, Moose and Arctic scenerey, just wow! We had an amazing day! Sorana was an excellent guide who made us feel welcome and told a lot about the area we drive through. The vehicle was comfortable and the lunch scrumptious! The views were breathtaking and we stopped a couple of times to take pictures. I would recommend anyone who wants to see the scenic landscapes and a part of Sommarøy to chose Northern Soul Adventures, these guys really do their best to make your day!

4.00We flew to Tromso from Bergen and were fortunate that Northern Soul Adventures was willing to have some flexibility, picking our family of three up at the airport instead of the usual meeting point. Sorana was friendly and informative. We greatly enjoyed our time together, including the picnic, and those first looks of Tromso! Reducing review by one star only because the photos were not received the next day as promised as our tour was on Monday, November 21st and photos were emailed Sunday, November 27th.
