What To Expect
The heart of boating in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Westhaven Marina is located a short walk from the city centre, immediately recognisable as an icon of Aotearoa New Zealand’s seafaring knowhow.
Mount Eden
This is the volcano hill in the City Center of Auckland. You can walk on the track to see the broad view of the Auckland city and harbours. A large, well-preserved crater, some 50 metres deep, is contained within the summit cone.

His personally added touches (with his trunkful of drinks and snacks!) plus his willingness to add in an extra stop or two made the day delightful. It gave us a wonderful overview of Auckland and the surrounding areas. He took great photos of us and the stunning scenery and promptly sent them following the tour.

5.00A full day of seeing so many amazing sites: the largest marina in the southern hemisphere, the panoramic views from the beautiful Mt Eden (there is a fairly strenuous walk to the top, but it’s worth it if you can do it!), KareKare falls and more, but the long trek to Piha Beach and the soft silky and sparkling black sands is something like you’ve never seen. A great way to see some great sites outside of Auckland City. Read less

4.00This is a great way to see some of the typical Auckland sights (Eden), but also see beautiful gardens (about 5 kind in 1 complex), get out of town and see a harbor white sand beach, also have lunch in a cute town overlooking the beach, see a visitor center about the indigenous ppl that had beautiful forests, we stopped to also see a beautiful waterfall and also saw a black surfing sand beach. We also received some information about the area , though that was not the ficus, as our guide has only lived in the area 2 years. Overall saw a lot in 1 day.

5.00Damian is a wonderful guide with good knowledge of the Auckland area. We went off-script a few times to accommodate desires we had for a museum and waterfall. Also he is a good driver and we felt safe on some tight and winding roads through the rainforest. The trip to Piha beach is spectacular as is the beach itself with its black sand.

5.00We’d been in Auckland for a day prior to our tour. The tour guide was able to adjust our schedule so we were able to see so many beautiful and different things. We got to see places the locals enjoyed including beautiful waterfalls and more. Our tour guide, Dan, was great. Even sent us suggested places to eat and things to do after we departed ways.

We got to see so many amazing sights in Auckland, but Jun did an excellent job of giving us as much time as we wanted at gardens, vistas, and volcanoes while making sure we saw a lot. We got to the end of the day, had a wonderful time, and really felt like we saw a lot of Auckland. Would recommend.
