This tour is for Die Hard Divers who want to maximize their time in the water and take full advantage of their dive day by travelling to the best diving in the Dominican Republic which is on the Caribbean Side.

With over 25 dive sites to choose from the dive leader will choose the 3 dives that will best suit the conditions of the day & the level of experience. Be it a deep dive on the St-Georges Wreck, a shallow dive on Atlantic Princess or a great reef dive.

This is a full day tour with all dive equipment, VIP transportation, Dive Guide, Snacks and drinks on the boat, a la carte lunch in a beautiful sea side restaurant. Pick up time is 7:30 am and you are back by 4:30 pm.

Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

Certified divers must ensure they leave at least 18 hours out of the water after their last dive prior to flying

Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All Dive course participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving.

Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive

Includes All Dive Equipment including: Tanks, weights, BCD (buoyancy control device), Regulator, Wetsuit, Mask and Fins.

NO dive computers will be provided

Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required

NO infants allowed on the boat due to the nature of the Activity

What To Expect

There is a huge difference between diving on the Caribbean Sea Side or diving in the Atlantic Ocean. Punta Cana is located on the Atlantic Ocean Side of the Dominican Republic. Let us take you to the Caribbean Sea in order to experience the best scuba diving in the Dominican Republic!! No rough seas, no strong undertow and fabulous visibility on most days! We will do 2 dives in the morning followed by a delicious a la carte lunch where you may choose from a large selection of freshly prepared dishes in a beautiful sea side restaurant and then return to do the third dive in the afternoon. You will be accompanied all by one of multilingual guides on 3 tank Dive Tour. We are pleased to offer you dive service in English, French, Spanish and German. Once in the town of Bayahibe you will board the boat at approximately 9 am where you will be fitted for your complimentary dive equipment and a safety briefing will be given Dive sites will be chosen according to dive experience and sea conditions that day. This is a full day tour including hotel transfers (*fees may apply), all dive equipment except dive computers, 3 guided dives and a la carte lunch in a beautiful restaurant.

Lise and her crew were exceptional! She coordinated private transfers from Punta Cana, and the driver was wonderful and right on time! My friend and I have been diving all around the world and this was a really well orchestrated adventure. Amazing dives!! She was professional, safe, and catered to our abilities and interests. I would highly recommend this operation!

My son and I did a private 3-tank dive yesterday with Lise, the owner of Punta Cana Scuba Diving, and Anthony, the boat captain. Our experience was outstanding in every respect. Clearly, Lise is an expert, experienced divemaster. Throughout our dives she was highly attentive to our safety, comfort, enjoyment, and experience. As neither of us had done open water dives in over 10 years, she watched us like a hawk until she was convinced that we had reacclimatized and regained full confidence underwater. We did 3 dives, each about 45 minutes. We saw an abundance of sealife including sea turtles, rays, lionfish, puffer fish, trumpetfish, and lobster. After our third dive, Lise treated us to a delicious late lunch at a charming port cafe. Without reservation, we recommend Punta Cana Scuba to divers at all levels.

Right from the beginning, El Tour Caribe was fantastic! They helped me choose the best tour for us, and we went with half a day private diving in Bayahibe and it was PHENOMENAL!!! We saw scorpionfish, stingrays, turtles, lionfish and even got to help catch some! The reef was so beautiful and vibrant and there were fish everywhere. Our driver and guide Starlin was awesome and taught us about DR on the drive. All in all it was a fantastic experience and I can’t wait to dive with them again! 🐠

We had a great day diving with 3 hour-plus dives from the boat in lovely locations. Lise was a fantastic host and dive leader and took us to some lovely secluded locations where we were able to see some of the great wildlife in the waters around the Dominican Republic - an eagle ray and hawksbill turtle were the highlights of a lovely day. Thanks to Lise and the crew for creating a nice highlight of our holiday and leaving us with lovely memories and great photographs of the day.

Lise was a spectacular guide of her local patch, showing us her favourite dive sites, giving insight to the local ecology and conservation threats, but also the great work of reinvigorating the reefs in Bayahibe and the Parque Nacional Cotumbanamá. We are both advanced open water with PADI and this made the trip easy being able to dive straight in with comprehensive dive briefings and on to the fun stuff! I could not recommend this more highly!! Worth having the private guiding in a beautiful area.

Had so much fun learning to scuba dive with Lise- she was an excellent teacher. My family and I had a great day on the boat visiting Saona and Starfish Cay and really enjoyed the amazing lunch on the boat.

We booked these guys primarily based on information from this forum, and not disappointed. We hadn't been diving since just before the pandemic, and wanted a brush up and improve our skills before venturing further afield. Edwar was wonderful, very personable, safety conscious. Took a little prodding to get him to offer any opportunities for improvement in our skills (we were there to learn, not be complimented, because I imagine the clients vary in their learning styles). We did deep, wreck, drift, navigation and general dives over 3 days to get AOW certification. The PADI online course was basic but pretty painless, with some good tips. The weather was OK, with some rain as expected in mid-November. The water was warm and comfortable without wet suits (this is actually a bad thing for the ocean). We did see small fish, the wreck, eels, the turtle named Lily, stingrays and the starfish. Edwar took lots of GoPro pictures, and we got those. He let me use the spear to get a couple lionfish, which are also not a good thing, but pretty fun to do. He had little games to play, like color changes at different depths, and concentration games in the boat and at the wreck. Couldn't be happier with our choice, we feel we improved our diving skills and confidence. Absolutely recommend.

An amazing experience! Highlight of the trip was lionfish hunting with the sling pole spears . The team at El Tour Caribe was extremely professional and knowledgeable. It was the best diving experience we've had thus far. We did 5 dives over two days with Lise and her boat crew. We would have loved to done more but were limited on time due to other commitments. Can't wait to return and explore other dive sites with this tour company!

Had an absolutely amazing time. Lise picked us up from out all inclusive on the other side of the island in a private van. My wife and I are fairly new to diving, I had competed 2 dives in Mexico, while my wife did 1. I thought I had a great time in Mexico but these 3 dives with Lise were wayyyy better. We saw a lot more animals, getting to swim with sea turtles, sting rays, and many colorful fish. My wife was nervous but she ended up enjoying her dive a lot. My wife only ended up doing 1 of the 3 dives and was allowed to return to shore while I finished the remaining dives. After I finished, Lise brought us to a nice local restaurant where she bought us both a nice meal. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to experience diving.
