We offer affordable 1:1 discover scuba experiences on shared boats for a truly personalized experience. You will NOT be in large groups with divers who may work at a different pace. Your instructor will be able to attend to you exclusively and will not have their hands too full to find all the amazing aquatic life!
We dive at a local reef 5 minutes by boat. However, if it´s too crowded on this popular site, we are one of the few dive centers that have actually mapped out another secret shallow water area which is 99% almost always exclusive to us.
This activity is for one dive only. However, we will always put extra tanks on the boat in case you want to do a second dive. It´s addictive! So be prepared to want to go again and again.
Although our instructors are not permitted to take photos because your safety comes first, we offer an affordable private photographer to go with you and take truly personalized photos. Just message us separately if you want to book this service.

What To Expect
You'll meet your instructor at the dive center in plenty of time to get suited up and ready. At the boat you'll learn some basic concepts of diving and have a detailed equipment orientation. After practicing skills in shallow water, you're ready to explore! You'll be allowed to dive as deep as you are comfortable to a maximum of 12m/ 40ft. If you prefer to stay the depth of a swimming pool and play with the pufferfish, that's absolutely fine! This is a unique affordable, private experience on a shared boat with a private expert instructor that is dedicated to you. Your instructor will have the time to concentrate on your enjoyment while maintaining our 100% safety record - as well as having better opportunities to find an ABUNDANCE of interesting marine life that lives here in Cabo! We believe small groups with close supervision is the best way to reduce human impact on the reef and truly enjoy the closest wildlife encounters! Please note: you will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire to check you are medically fit to dive. If you have high blood pressure, asthma or recent surgeries you would require a Dr to sign off beforehand.

5.00Family of four - two certified diver parents who hadn't been on a dive in a long time, and two boys ages 12 and 14 who are strong swimmers but never tried SCUBA. Private boat with the four of us and two certified divers as our guides (one named Mary, can't remember the other name unfortunately), we did two dives of about 30 minutes each. The guides were terrific - they took a good amount of time to work through the basics of the gear with our boys, and to give the adults a refresher on everything. And most importantly, throughout both dives one of the guides had a hand ON the boys at all times. The weather and the water were not cooperative on our day, unfortunately. Visibility was terrible, and there were very strong currents that really made it less enjoyable. But all of that is out of the control of the operator, and they did great with everything under their control. We live in Los Angeles and traveled to Cabo by cruise ship. Communication was easy ahead of time in booking, making the deposit, etc., via text and whatsapp. On the day everything was smooth, everyone spoke excellent english which was much appreciated. When we returned home my wife had some problems with an ear infection, and the doctor was concerned that it might be an impact from the dive. We contacted the shop again and asked for the dive info from the guide's computer, which the shop provided within 30 minutes of our asking. Really appreciated the quick response to help put our minds at ease. Highly recommend the shop, thank you

My instructor, Florent, was absolutely phenomenal—so nice, easygoing, & incredibly motivating. He created a relaxed environment while still making sure I fully understood everything & felt confident in the water. I never felt rushed or intimidated, just supported the whole way through. I couldn’t have asked for a better first diving experience & would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking to get certified!

5.00I just finished my Open Water certification in Cabo with Julio, and honestly, it was amazing. He made everything so easy to understand and was super patient with me the whole time. From the pool lessons to the open water dives, he made sure I felt safe and confident. By the last day, I felt so proud of myself and so ready to dive on my own ... Julio really made it fun and stress-free. Also, my boyfriend did his Advanced Diver cert with Javier, and he had an incredible time too. Both instructors are awesome, friendly, and really know how to make diving a great experience. If you’re thinking about getting certified in Cabo, Julio and Javier are the ones to go to!

5.00We had a wonderful time. Diego and Cesaar were our guides today and they really made the dive amazing for our two sons. 11 and 12 years old. It was just 4 of us, my husband, two boys and I, Two guides and the boat captain. My husband and I are PADI certified, but this was our kids first dive! Our youngest son was nervous when it was his turn get in. He was crying and saying he didn't want to go. They were experts at making him feel comfortable and took lots of baby steps to help him gain confidence. Before we knew it he was hanging out with puffer fish on the Ocean floor. Diego and Cesar literally stayed connected to each of them the whole dive and completely took control of them being able to do the basic skills and made sure they were getting to have an amazing positive first dive experience. Our sons are all excited to get certified now and had really great experiences. Which is what we had hop'd for. Everything was professional and safe and very very well done! I highly recommend. I would like to add that, had I been organized enough, I wish I had booked a beginning pool scuba session, just like a hour lesson... back home in Chicago before we came. They don't advertise their classes like that, but Our local dive school would have done it as a private lesson. I think it would have gone along way for all of us being able to relax and enjoy this dive and feel like they already were comfortable doing the basics . It is a little stressfull for anyone trying scuba for the first time in open water, and I suppose afterwards, as a parent I felt like just because you CAN skip the pool sessions doesn't mean you should. Especially for a Kid. ... but all in all I am super supper grateful that we all got to do this today! Cabo Private Guide gave us a 5 star experience!

5.00Incredible experience with cabo private guide! We booked a bubble maker with Morgane who was attentive, patient, caring with our 9 year old boy! He had an extraordinary experience and would like to do his certification when he turns 10 thanks to it:) Also, we made me and my spouse our first dive with them and Javi was our guide. Super professional, marine biologist, we were confident from the beginning and wow as our child, we will do our certification after this experience with javi! Moreover, we did the sea safari and Javi was still our guide! It was a memorable day, swimming with a menta ray, sea lion and dolphins! Totally stupid as a day! Finally, my spouse did a second dive with Caesar as guide and again everything was perfect! Do not hesitate to book with Cabo private guide which offers personalized and professional services. 5.00We had an absolutely incredible time with Cabo Private Guide! This was our first family diving adventure, and Morgane and Javi made it perfect in every way. My 9 and 11-year-old had never been diving before, and I was a bit nervous about how they'd handle it, but our guides were so patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Both kids are now completely hooked on diving - they haven't stopped talking about it since we got back! Morgane and Javi created such a safe and fun environment that made the whole family feel comfortable and excited throughout the entire experience. 5.00We had the most amazing experience with Javi and Morgane doing our first dive with kids. I was a bit hesitant to do the dive with kids (13 and 15) at first but Javi and Morgane were very professional, knowledgeable, entertaining and fun! We left safe at all times and would recommend them to anybody considering the first time scuba.
