What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
The private tour guide will pick you up from centrally located hotel on 8:00am, then drive to Mutianyu Great wall directly, which is around 80-miles away from downtown Beijing, and it is known for its beautiful surroundings - beautiful dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with impressive mountain view， and the cable car is a better choice if you want to get to the highest point there and take the whole of mountain view. later on have lunch at restaurant close to Mutianyu Great wall at your own expense.
Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)
After having lunch, then driving to the most impressive imperial of Chang tomb within 13 Ming tombs with 700 years history, which is for the biggest tomb for the very successful third Ming Emperor Zhudi, later on you will get a good chance to visit a local Jade Factory, and the jade carving is a very famous ancient Chinese product, which was not only the incredibly Jade carving skill, but also mixes Chinese traditional written character cultures since 1500 years ago. Finally go back hotel.

He picked us up very early, ensuring we arrived before the crowds. As a result, we had the rare opportunity to enjoy the Wall in almost complete peace — perfect for walking at our own pace and capturing stunning, unobstructed photos. Michael was incredibly efficient and well-organized, and his English is excellent, which made communication smooth and pleasant. Beyond that, he’s very warm, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating insights about Chinese history, culture, and everyday life. If you’re planning to visit Beijing, Michael is an absolute gem — professional, friendly, and truly passionate about what he does. We highly recommend him for any sightseeing tours in and around Beijing!

5.00John Terry was our guide in the tour to Mutianyu and the Ming Tombs. The booking of the service went very well, he confirmed every detail of the tour in advance and was always ready on the time that was agreed. He has a great knowledge of Chinese History and his explanations were great to make us understand better what we were visiting. His English is very good and he was always nice and helpful. All together it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend him for your visit in Beijing!
