Day excursion from Budapest to the famous Danube Bend. Discover the second longest river of Europe and the National Park of Danube-Ipoly rivers. Especially attractive in summer, enjoy a bath in the Danube or Ipoly river and a relaxing ride in a canoe through an amazing nature.
The tour is very flexible regarding the amount of bicycle riding, stops and relaxing. Recommended for sportive outdoor fans, can be done by families as well. If you want to take small children please contact us in advance. Although we provide life vests, you have to be able to swim !

What To Expect
Gozsdu Udvar
We will meet in our office at Madach Imre street 12, which is between Madach Square and Gozsdu Court, get the bikes ready and ride to the Western ("Nyugati") Railwaystation. Please make sure to arrive on time !!
Budapest Western Railway Station
Gustav Eiffel's railway station in Budapest. We will ride there on the bikes and get on the train to the Danube Bend

5.00This was a fantastic day out. Our guides Laszlo and Karoly were so interesting and informative. The route we followed was very pretty and not difficult, 35 k on the bike was no problem as the bikes are so comfortable and well maintained. . They took us to a delicious cafe for lunch. The paddling on the river was very peaceful. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see a bit more than just Budapest.

4.00If you’re looking to enjoy a slightly different approach to sightseeing, and you like fresh air & exercise, book an Eco tour of the Danube bend with Bike & Relax. Our trip was hosted by Thomas, who’s knowledge of the local area and the history made the day informative as well as fun. A really great way to see parts of the city and surrounding countryside that you wouldn’t necessarily access with the services of this excellent, professional and fun company’
