What To Expect
Fort Saint Elmo
Situated in Valletta and boasting magnificent views of the Grand Harbour, Fort St Elmo is a treasure trove of artefacts, military paraphernalia, and insights into Malta’s rich history. Built by the Knights in 1552 in just four months, this majestic fort bore the brunt of Ottoman arms during the Great Siege of Malta. It also received its fair share of bombardment during World War ll. Within the Fort’s majestic walls is a chapel, the resting place of knights who fought to the death whilst protecting the altar of the Chapel of St. Anne, during the Great Siege. The Fort is also home to the magnificent National War Museum, where one can see the George Cross, as well as aircraft wreckage, weapons, and various military vehicles

Valletta is the Capital City of Malta which is noted for its fortifications, consisting of bastions, curtains and cavaliers, along with the beauty of its Baroque palaces, gardens and churches.

5.00Arranging a private tour of the Harbour with Keith was an excellent decision. He offered a detailed history of the last several hundred years of Valletta and the harbour. It was also very interesting to hear the history of the Luzzu, a traditional Maltese boat, that was originally owned by Keith’s grandfather. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend a private tour.

5.00Keith picked us up at exactly the right time from the dock next to the Gozo Fast Ferry. My wife uses a wheelchair and he was very helpful indeed making her feel comfortable in the boat. Wonderful trip around the Grand Harbour and so informative. Loved everything - thank you Keith.

5.00Keith was very informative. I was also a bit nervous. He reassured me and took his time to the three cities, not bouncing on the waves. Once I relaxed, it was a lovely sail and so nice to see Valletta from the sea. Definitely recommend Keith for a private tour

5.00Keith was brilliant! Very polite, courteous, and welcoming. We booked a private tour of the harbour and the Three Cities, and it ended up being just me and my partner on the boat. Keith took the time to stop along the way and explain different parts of the island to us, which made the trip even more special. The whole experience was fantastic—highly recommended!

5.00Keith did an excellent job. It was wonderful to have a private tour in a very well maintained boat. His tour of the harbour, explanation of the historic sites and the three cities was very interesting and extensive. As a fourth generation boatman his passion for Malta and his strong boat skills were very evident. We highly recommend this tour with Keith. It will no doubt be a highlight of your time in Malta.
