5.00Captain Vaughn Willis gave us one of the highlights of our trip to the Florida Keys. We booked a sand bar tour with him and had an absolutely wonderful time. We visited four different sand bars, got out and walked each one, did some paddle boarding, and enjoyed a beautiful day on the water. What made the trip especially memorable was Captain Vaughn himself. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what he does. He shared so much about the local wildlife, pointed out different bird species, and taught us about the mangroves and surrounding area in a way that made the experience even more interesting. As a born-and-raised Key West Conch, Captain Vaughn knows the area and its culture exceptionally well. He also gave us great local tips and was simply a pleasure to spend time with. The conversation was easy, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the entire outing felt authentic and special. We travel quite a bit, and this was exactly the kind of experience that stays with you. We highly recommend Captain Vaughn to anyone looking for a fun, informative, and truly local Keys adventure.

5.00If you want the best experience and truly feel like a local book with Vaughn. This is our second trip with him and we’ll come back again. Extremely easy going and comfortable day trip to see beautiful sandbars, explore the coast and see wild life. You can’t come to key west without getting out on the water, and this is the best way to do it. Would highly recommend!

5.00We left just before 10 am and came back at 130 pm. We visited three spots ending at a sandbar at Snipe Point, which was our favorite. We took out paddle boards, snorkeled, explored. Vaughn was an affable, helpful, well-informed (about the waterways, wild life, area history) host and a safe, skilled boat captain. He struck the perfect balance of easy conversation/helpful guide, while still giving our family plenty of space to enjoy the time together. For our family, it was a much-needed, delightful retreat away from the busy-ness and crowds of Old Town, out into the beautiful waters of the Gulf.

5.00This was an amazing experience for us. We watched dolphins (lots of dolphins) and sea turtles, swam in clear water, had amazing photo ops and just enjoyed a great day with a knowledgeable and fun local. Everything was off the beaten path and well worth the trip.

5.00Great experience! There was a mistake from the booking site on the time of our tour. Vaughn handled it very well, but I would suggest verifying your time the night before. Vaughn took us to several islands to enjoy snorkeling, paddle boarding, site seeing, etc. We had a dolphin and shark encounter that was very cool! Would recommend this trip to anyone!

5.00Vaughn is AWESOME! He was so sweet and knowledgeable about the Keys. He took us to a beautiful sandbar and mangroves. We fished, snorkeled, paddle boarded and cruised! The seaweed on Key West beaches was not so great…we loved going to beautiful beaches without seaweed.
