EL KOKORUGA, being a classic 44-foot boat, Grand Banks style hull which stands out for its navigation but also stands out over other types of boats for its spaciousness and comfort either inside (with exclusive vintage wood details) main lounge with Ac, cabins, bathrooms, kitchen and the Fly Bridge which has a large place with unsurpassed views when sailing and protected from the sun for at least 15 people which guarantees the comfort of our passengers.

What To Expect
You will appreciate a great diversity of beaches during the trip, whether heading north or south depending on the climate, as well as Islands, for example Isla Plata, Islote Chocoyas, Isla Danta, Isleta el Arbol among others, we will moor in Playa del Amor (Honeymoon beach ), Macaw or other (heading north) or Playa Minas heading south, depending on weather conditions. You can also observe various species of birds and marine fauna depending on the time of year.

The Best Sunset Cruise!!

5.00This was the second time we went with Kokoruga Tours for a sunset cruise. Just like the first time it did NOT disappoint. The boat is spacious, the cruise out is wonderful (if you are lucky you will get to see dolphins, whales and turtles), and then you get to anchor and do some snorkel exploration and swimming. They have plenty of toys on board for you to use in the water and if you are going with littles they have a platform with a swim net. Also, the food and drink are plentiful! They have everything from blended drinks to on the rocks- both with and without alcohol. You will not leave hungry, there are plenty of drinks on board along with a rice and shrimp dish. And if all of that wasn’t enough the cruise back to the marina as the sun sets will be sure to capture your heart and leave a long lasting memory! We will go on this cruise every time we visit!

5.00My family and I booked the 4 hour sunset cruise last minute and we could not have been happier with the experience. Diego communicated right from the get go with details about the trip and answered all our questions. The moment we stepped on the boat we were offered drinks, food and music. The boat was very spacious for our group with multiple decks and seating areas to enjoy while cruising. Captain Edwin found a nice and protected spot on a windy day for us to swim, snorkel, paddle board and lounge. The inflatable dock with an enclosed pool was a hit and we spent most of our time there with our 2 year old. The drinks and the food were delicious and the crew went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could possibly want. They whipped up a number of fresh pineapple and mango smoothies for our kid. At the end we enjoyed a stunning cruise home on the bow of boat during sunset. We have chartered a number of boats in the past and this was definitely one of, if not the, top experience we have ever had.

5.00We had the most incredible all-day boat charter experience with Diego and his amazing crew on board Kokoruga in Costa Rica. From the moment we stepped on board, they were attentive, professional, and genuinely focused on making sure our entire group was comfortable and having fun. The food and drinks were outstanding—fresh, delicious, and plentiful. The crew went above and beyond to accommodate everyone’s food preferences, which made the experience feel truly personalized. A very special highlight was that they surprised my son with a delicious and beautiful cake for his 10th birthday. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the day unforgettable for him (and us!). We spent the day exploring three different snorkeling locations. They provided all the snorkel equipment we needed, along with stand-up paddle boards, a floating dock, and fishing poles—there was truly something for everyone. The crew was always nearby, helping, guiding, and making sure everyone felt safe and relaxed. As if the day couldn’t get any better, we ended with a breathtaking Costa Rican sunset on the water—an absolutely perfect way to wrap up an already perfect day. If you’re considering a boat charter in Costa Rica, Diego and his crew are exceptional. Thoughtful, attentive, fun, and professional—this was a five-star experience from start to finish, and we would book with them again in a heartbeat. 🌅🚤

5.00My family and I had an amazing time renting this boat!! The crew was SO attentive! The service was truly amazing and all the crew members were so friendly. They had everything we needed, snacks, delicious lunch, a variety of drinks, life vests for the kids, and water toys for us all. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this boat tour for a large family or group of friends!

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful boat tour with our family. From the moment we stepped on board, the staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The food and drinks were delicious, and everything felt thoughtfully taken care of. We snorkeled, swam, paddle boarded, and also had plenty of time to relax in the sun. What really stood out was the amazing staff-to-guest ratio—they anticipated our needs and offered things before we even had to ask. It was a truly special experience, and I highly recommend this tour.

5.00It was an unforgettable experience, the full day on the water with professional, kind and attentive crew who took care of every single aspect of my family while on the boat. Crew was very polite, respected our privacy, and made sure that we had everything we needed for the wonderful experience. They’re also reasonably priced and have a very clean boat. We had a family of 12 and it was super comfortable even with young kids.
