Amazing day with Martin! Cocoa finca, indigenous remains, magical lunch in the Taironaca forest... then launched to the mouth of the Don Diego River and the Caribbean Sea: just WOW! Along the way, we even saw monkeys and several iguanas! An exceptional experience. Martin's on top, go ahead with your eyes closed!

Martin was a perfect guide for this look at the indigenous people. To peek into their life, living structure, crafts, etc. He was so knowledgeable! Even helping with the purchase of a "purse" made from the fica plant - he knew best prices and quality. Finishing the tour at where the river and sea converged allowed a perfect dip in each body of water. Highly recommend!

My friend and I had an unforgettable experience during our private excursion to Tayrona Park. Our guide picked us up in the morning by van, perfectly on time. The organization was impeccable from start to finish, allowing us to fully enjoy without any worries. The scenery was simply breathtaking, from heavenly beaches to lush jungle trails. We met monkeys, exotic birds and iguanas, every moment was magical thanks to the exciting knowledge of our guide. We also enjoyed a delicious meal on an idyllic beach, followed by a refreshing swim in crystal clear waters. In summary, this excursion to Tayrona Park was an incredible experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of Colombia. A big thank you to our guide for this perfect day!

We really loved this day with Martin and his photographer Andres1 One of the best tours we took in all of Colombia. Martin is so enthusiastic about the Santa Marta region. He took us to a cacao farm that was super interesting and informative. I brought back homemade chocolate from the farmers that was a big hit! Then we hiked around the ruins of Taironaka and saw a troupe of howler monkeys, lots of beuatiful birds, and learned about the ancient culture. We wrapped up with a cooling boat ride to the sea on the Don Diego river and saw more howlers, vultures, and sea birds. Totally enjoyable day. Highly recommend Martin and Iguanas tours.

Community oriented eco experience. Lunch was very good after a memorable river float trip. A guided tour through Tayrona history areas was available.

The tour with Iguana tours and Martin was AMAZING. He was tremendously punctual and informative. We had the honor of having his little 7 year old son Matias come with us, he was amazing and a trooper. Tayrona was an amazing experience hiking, enjoying the beach and having a typical Colombian lunch which was delicious. We decided to take the trail back on horseback which was a tremendous experience if your are seeking a true adventure. The following day we visited the Victoria coffee farm which I highly recommend in addition to a pristine water fall and a delicious lunch at nearby town of Minca. I truly enjoyed the experience and Martin made it amazing. I will re-visit Santa Marta and definitely connect with Martin. When visiting Santa Marta Iguanas Tours with Martin is a 100% MUST!!

We took this tour June 2023 and it was great! Wonderfully peaceful historic site with delicious food. The boat ride down the river was fantastic with great glimpses of nature and wildlife. The beach was perfect. Tour guide Martin is a non-native to Colombia and as such offers a unique perspective on Colombian culture and history. One of the highlights of our stay in this beautiful country.
