Visit our Barrel Room, where our best wines rest and mature accompanied by Gregorian Songs. Clos Apalta
Winner of the Most Extraordinary Winery award, Clos Apalta winery has built a seven-story underground complex into the slopes of its land. 5.00We did a 2 day/ 2 night tour in the Cholchagua staying overnight in Santa Cruz. We were a group of 8 people. We would highly recommend Explore Chile Tours for a seamless service with private transfers tailored for us. The Colchagua Valley landscape is breathtaking with the backdrop of the Andes. Lunch reservations were made on our behalf (which was an additional cost) at restaurants within the vineyard grounds. Lunches on both days were outstanding catering for vegetarians and non vegetarians in a relaxed atmosphere with great service. Day 1 Visted Clos Alpata vineyard followed by lunch at Fuego de Alpata. In the afternoon wines tasting at Vina Montes. Both amazing tours and wines. Day 2 Tour and wine tasting at Vina Vik with an incredible lunch with wine pairing at the Pavilion restaurant.

5.00We did this wine tour in Chile as a couple, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our entire trip through South America. From the very beginning, Explore LATAM Tours made everything easy and stress-free. They helped us choose the perfect wineries in the Colchagua Valley, arranged private transportation, and tailored the experience exactly to what we were looking for: great wines, beautiful landscapes, and a relaxed, authentic atmosphere. We visited several boutique and premium wineries, each with its own personality. The tastings were generous and well explained, and we loved learning about Chilean wine culture directly from passionate local producers. The lunch was also outstanding, paired perfectly with the wines and surrounded by stunning vineyard views. What really stood out was how personal and well organized everything felt. We never felt rushed, and our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly cared about making the experience special for us. It felt like traveling with a local friend who knew all the best spots.
