National Museum of Qatar

Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel, the National Museum of Qatar draws inspiration from and recreates the naturally occurring crystal formations known as the desert rose. Built around Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al-Thani’s original palace, the seat of government for 25 years, the National Museum of Qatar gives voice to Qatar’s heritage whilst celebrating its future. It spans a whopping 430,500 square feet. A vibrant and immersive space that invites all visitors to explore Qatar's rich heritage and culture.

Our lead driver, Mehmood, is fluent in the English language. He knows Qatar history very well and teaches with now difficulty. He is so friendly and takes his assignments very seriously. He does his work with no complaints. If I come to Qatar in future I will look for him. We are very happy with his services.

After some initial confusion it was a nice tour. Our guide dropped us off at the Desert Rose Museum, took us to the Souks, bought us some lovely Karak tea, then we went sightseeing and picture taking. The Pearl is beautiful.

Iqtidar, our tour guide was great! He took us to all the major sites in Doha and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy each one. He speaks good English which is very important for a tour guide. For my wife and I it was the perfect tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Really wonderful. Our tour guide/driver Abood was extremely knowledgeable and super nice. Having grown up in Qatar, he was able to highlight his local favorite spots, and speak to the changes that Qatar has undergone since he was a kid. Thoroughly enjoyed!
