5.00I took this trip with my friends (all women!) and we had a great time. Bjorn was a great story teller and excellent driver. We very much enjoyed being picked up from Bergen and not having to deal with travel to or from. This was a very special experience that I would recommend to any one who loves nature and wants to see Norway from the water.
This is the Fjord trip you want! Not the touristy big boat trips. Totally worth the money!

5.00We took two fjord tours - one on a bigger boat combined with the Flam railway and this tour, private, on a zodiac pontoon boat. NO comparison. This one is full of interesting information, access to fjords you’ll never see on a big boat, and unique experiences like seeing salmon fishing up close or peering down through the water to an actual shipwreck from 400 years ago. If you really want to see and learn about fjords - this is the tour! Highlight of our entire trip!

5.00Bjorn asked us if we’d decided to go ahead with the booking once the weather improved. To be honest, no. I have a health issue that meant our safety and well-being were our main concern. Bjorn immediately understood, and was very empathetic and accommodating. Throughout the trip, there was not a moment when we didn't feel safe and well looked after by him in a highly professional manner. Bjorn, our guide, is a force of nature! He not only shared information about the fjords and Bergen, but also about himself and Norway in general. It was interesting, entertaining and relaxing. From afar, I had often wondered what could motivate a culture to settle in such an inhospitable place. Once there, I couldn’t stop wondering how I hadn’t discovered it for myself sooner. Visiting the fjords changes your perspective in so many ways: It fills you with a sense of tranquillity, it really is an experience of being at one with nature. The water is still and clear, reflecting either the blue of the sky or the green of the mountains. The wind is cold but not overwhelming (thanks to the special suits that protect you), and the sun is a welcome sight that manages to warm you up from time to time. It is an experience that makes you appreciate each and every element. You will not regret it!

5.00Bjørn turned what could’ve been a freezing November fjord tour into one of the highlights of our entire Scandinavian trip. He’s hilarious, whip-smart, and genuinely loves Bergen. We covered Viking history, Norwegian culture, life philosophy, and more. He treats you like a friend showing you around. The conversation flowed as beautifully as the scenery. 5.00We had a wonderful experience with Bjørn. We booked a half day tour. The whole experience from beginning to end was 5 hours. We were picked up at our hotel in Bergen via van and driven about an hour on a very scenic ride to Vikanes. From there we were geared up and got ready for our departure. They provided high quality rain and cold gear which nicely protected us from the elements. We were with Bjørn on the pontoon boat for about 3 hours. The boat was very comfortable. Bjørn is a great guide and provided us with a historical perspective starting with the Vikings and included many components in his tour commentary including geology, geography farming and fishing. Bjørn had a nice balance between talking and letting us enjoy the scenery. The fjords are stunning. We passed many significant waterfalls and even got up very close with one of them. It was a fun and educational experience in a very beautiful environment. At the end of the tour we were dropped off at the end of a road and walked 6 minutes to a small train station. Bjørn had purchased the rail tickets for us in advance and we had a peaceful and scenic train ride back to Bergen. The tour was the highlight of our Norway trip and is highly recommended for all.
What a fantastic way to see the fjords and more remote parts of Norway!

5.00What a fantastic trip! The boat trip was truly exhilarating—an immersive experience that took us away from all the usual tourist traps. We didn’t see anyone else in the fjord all day! Bjorn and his team thought of everything: warm gear, rest stops, and pick-up and drop-off at our hotel in Bergen. Bjorn was fun, engaging, and easy to talk to. He was very informative and shared his knowledge of Norway with us, covering the area's history from prehistory to its geography, politics, and society. We loved hearing about his family’s experiences in the area. He tailored his narration to our interests and was happy to answer all of our questions, making it a very personalized experience. We had a great time—not only learning a lot about the area but also laughing along the way. We would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a unique and memorable experience!

5.00Bjorn was amazing today as our rib guide, he got us up close and personal to some great sites and was wery entertaining. we highly recommend this tour to take you to some hidden gems. thie suits were comfortable and kept us warm since it was a little cold during some of the ride. His knowledge of the area and history was unreal, but since he grew up in the area it was understandable. We would definitely recommend this tour.
