What To Expect
We’ll visit Meiji Shrine, a peaceful shinto shrine surrounded by forest in the middle of downtown Tokyo. Afterwards, we’ll stroll along Takeshita Street, famous for its eccentric desserts, colorful clothes, and animal cafes.
Shibuya
Shibuya is known for the iconic Shibuya Scramble, the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing. Nearby, we’ll see the famous Hachiko statue and explore the streets filled with shops and restaurants.

5.00We cannot recommend Nobu highly enough. Before we even arrived in Japan, he spent hours with us on the phone, over email, and even on Zoom — researching, planning, and making sure our trip would be perfect. His dedication and preparation were extraordinary. During our time together, he was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and so proud to share his country with us. What meant the most was how wonderful he was with our 13-year-old son. Nobu went out of his way to show him the best anime spots, understood exactly what would light him up, and even sat with him at the One Piece Café and shared a special drink When we suddenly needed an extra piece of luggage (because our son may have bought half the anime universe!), Nobu personally took us to find a quality suitcase and made sure we were taken care of. He is generous with his time, deeply knowledgeable, incredibly patient, and genuinely kind. If you are visiting Japan and want someone who will treat your family like his own, Nobu is your guide.

5.00We made an excellent choice, selecting Nobu to help us in guiding us around Tokyo in five hours he was able to give us a great tour of both historical and contemporary areas of Tokyo. He included some of the must see items as well as a couple area only a local would share. We would’ve never been able to navigate this enormous metropolitan area as effectively without Nobu. I can’t thank him enough for making it such a nice and pleasant experience for my wife and me. His English , his demeanor and hospitality was unmatched. I highly recommend Nobu even if it’s for only four hours or a couple of days he will ensure that your time in Tokyo is memorable. He provided everything you would expect from a private guide.

5.00Great tour hosted by Nobu. He catered the tour to our wishes, in our case hidden gems of Tokyo, and we got to see so many parts of Tokyo that we know we just wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Nobu is very knowledgeable and can talk about the history, culture and general facts - making it all really fascinating and easy to digest. Nobu is also extremely personable - We really felt like we made a friend!

5.00If you are traveling to Tokyo and looking for a private tour guide for part of your stay, look no further. Our family of four had an amazing tour with Nobu, a delightful young man who showed us the ropes to navigate the city and created an itinerary based on our interests. He speaks perfect English and loves to answer all questions. (Ask him for a little lesson on the Japanese alphabet and the different characters you will see on the signage- super interesting!) We all loved him. We have referred him to several friends who have all had great experiences as well. If you ask he’ll even solve a rubic’s cube for you while juggling it with 2 other balls. Highly recommend him!

5.00We had a fantastic private tour with Nobu, who was recommended to us by a friend. He gave us an excellent introduction to Tokyo, guiding us through the imperial Palace, the Ueno area and the original marketplace. along the way he introduced us to local delicacies we would never have discovered on our own. Nobu was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly, detailing the experience to our interest and making the day truly memorable. I would highly recommend Nobu to anyone visiting Tokyo, who wants a private tour that combines famous landmarks with authentic local experience.

5.00We were referred by a friend to book a customized tour with Nobu, and it did not disappoint. Top notch experience from start to finish. A few highlights 1. Nobu spent a number of years in the west, but is a Tokyo local, so that makes it incredibly easy for him to adapt to each customers needs 2. He was obviously incredibly knowledgeable about Tokyo and gave us a ton of recommendations to think through and choose from even before we arrived 3. He was very extremely responsive and overall a pleasure to spend 6+ hours with 4. He is an active listener and very flexible, so for those seeking a custom and tailored tour, Nobu is your person
