Parque Municipal das Mangabeiras

The Parque das Mangabeiras was designed by the famous landscape gardener Roberto Burle Marx and preserves, in its area of 2,8 million square meters, 21 sources of the Córrego da Serra, that takes part on the São Francisco river basin . The fauna meets 28 mammalian species, 160 birds, 20 reptiles and 19 amphibia.

It is all easy walking. Our guide Jucirene., was terrific and very informative. She knows all about Belo Horizonte history and her Mercado tour was very good.
