Freaking Amazing Guide and Tour

5.00Terry was spectacular and didn't charge us for going a little over our time limit. He made it super easy to find him from the cruise ship, he was hilarious and we could hear and understand him (some of our guides on this trip were quiet and heavily accented). It's a small family owned business which we prefer to use. We had a nice big air conditioned van. Absolutely love Terry. We stopped by Rhianna's childhood home that she still owns (this was an additional bonus stop). He got us to Mt. Gay, the world's oldest summary before the crowds. This was the best distillery tour we took in our two weeks of vacationing. We learned a lot because they actually showed and taught us and the price included drinks. Last we went to the Animal Flower Cave, waaaaay cool and completely different and better than expectations. We also toured the island a bit while Terry narrated and answered all our bizarre questions! Use this company, they so rock!!!!

5.00Yvette was a great driver and tour guide. We requested a customised tour from the cruise port to include the West Coast, St Nicholas Abbey and Bathsheba. Despite the obstacles of a marathon around the cruise port. Yvette battled on and provided us with a great tour. She has a wonderful personality and is a font of all knowledge. We really enjoyed our time with her and wish her well for the future. Do not hesitate to book your tour with Yvette's firm.

5.00I look for ward to using the services of this agency again. There were a few assorted sights I wanted to see in Barbados, and they knew the most efficient way to work it out. Any question I had, this guide Terry gave an articulate, precise and well thought out answer. Very refreshing. We asked to see Harrison’s Cave which we did, but Terry also knew other things to do I. The area that filled out the day and made it very rewarding. We are grateful for the kind service.

5.00I cannot recommend this company more. Yvette and her family were absolutely amazing throughout the whole week that I was there. I travelled as a solo female and Yvette was at the arrivals waiting for me when I landed. She took my straight to the place I was staying and was so friendly and welcoming. The entire week I was there she provided not just a taxi service, but a tour that was customised to me personally, she explained every place we went to, the history, locals, recommendations. Not only that but I changed my mind on a few places and she didn't hesitate to refund me what I had paid for. She spent a lot of time with me and didn't rush anything I wanted to see. I met her daughter who was also lovely and her son who took me to the airport for my flight home. The entire family were wonderful and I will keep in touch without question. I intend to return as the place is amazing and I would not hesitate to book Yvette and her team instantly. She is now a friend, her family are friendly, welcoming and so helpful. I would give Yvette and her family much more than 5* if I could. Perfect.

5.00We have visited Barbados around 20 times over 40 years and for the last 3 have been using Terrvette Tours for our airport transfers, lunch and dinner trips and this year for a personalised Island Tour. We have been looked after by Yvette, Terry and Danny who are wonderful knowledgable ambassadors of Barbados and we have enjoyed spending time with each of them on our trips. We normally agree an itinerary with Yvette prior to our arrival in Barbados, knowing that we can make adjustments should the need arise as long as we give reasonable notice. We keep up to date by WhatsApp and Yvette even sends reminders the day before agreed trips to agree timings. On our recent Island tour we wanted to incorporate lunch at the Roundhouse in Bathsheba and knowing we might be running a few minutes behind schedule Yvette even phoned ahead to let them know we were still enroute. We will certainly continue to use this excellent business on future trips.

1.00I cancelled this trip online through the booking platform Get Your Guide nine days before it was scheduled. Get Your Guide did not acknowledge the cancellation and charged me the full $400 claiming that I did not cancel within the twenty four hour deadline. I sent evidence backing my claim but since their system did not acknowledge it they were intransigent.

5.00Great way to experience Barbados with our guide Pete! He knows his island and showed as well as shared a ton of information. We had a great time exploring monkeys at the reserve, checking out the view at Scotlands, beachin' it at Bathsheeba, and ending with a stroll through Hunte's Gardens. Pete made our day filled with the sites and experiences of Barbados. Highly recommend this tour and...of course....Pete! Ya'man!

5.00Danny provided us an amazing experience in Barbados. It was a rainy morning so he was very flexible with the pickup time at the port. He drove us all over the island and showed us so many cool and local spots. I can't recommend him enough if you need a driver while visiting Barbados. They have the best drinks at The Tiki Bar. We will definitely be back.

4.00We asked to see the island, caves and monkeys. Finding our driver was a bit difficult, but once we did he took good care of us. Drove along the coast line to a coral cave with beautiful views. Then we went on to a wildlife sanctuary to see the monkeys and other animals. Than a safe return to port.
